I've only had it one day. My 15 month old hid from the sound. Eventually she went after the ball but no interest in putting the ball into the machine.

The whole family loves this ball launcher. It saves mom and dad's arm, and our two cocker spaniel pups are wagging their tails the whole time! The balls are the perfect size for a small to medium dog and are very durable.I can't wait to teach the puppies to drop the ball into the hopper.The launcher works great! It comes with a cord for indoor use and requires batteries for outdoor use. It takes a whopping eight batteries to use it outside. The batteries weigh more than the launcher. Nowadays, it would be much more efficient for the customer if a rechargeable battery was included in the launcher. It’s great fun, but eight batteries! Not so much!
