I do have a medium size dog and these balls are too small for her. They are well made and sturdy but are a choking hazard for the bigger dogs. These would be great for a cat as well.

This is a good mix of both tennis and rubber balls for small dogs, I would lean toward using them for mature dogs rather than puppies as they are half sized and could possibly be a choking hazard for larger breed dogs. Our puppy destroyed the tennis ones rather quickly, but the rubber can take a lot of punishment. We will be removing these when she gets older as they are a little small for grown dogs but for teething and playing as a puppy these work quite well.

Charlie really likes these balls. Sadly, they are little too small to work with a Chuck-it! You know, those long plastic things that allow you to fling a ball really far? The balls are not hard to through in the traditional way. The balls seem to be holding up to the chewing of Charlie.

These are of nice quality and ample supply -- 12! They're about tennis ball sized, and feel like they'll hold up as well as can be expected given the brutal treatment they're about to get from the large dog who'll be putting them to use. They're a gift -- for the dog's owner -- so I haven't field tested them yet, but they look like they're made of the right stuff.

These balls are as advertised and are good quality. I would caution that they are definitely on the smaller end of the "medium" range. If you have a dog over probably 25 lbs, these balls are likely too small.

I had low expectations for using these in our automatic dog ball launcher, as I've had difficulty with distance using anything but the lighter mini tennis balls.But wow, the foam/latex/whatever balls really do work well, consistently going further than anything else we use in the launcher! The mini tennis balls included also work fine, similarly to our other lighter mini tennis balls.In addition, as far as I can tell, the 15-pound Destroyer of Things hasn't (YET) managed to chew any of the latex balls to pieces, which already means they're more successful than many of the now-dead mini tennis balls we've tried - some of which have not lasted an hour with the fluffy little demon.Seems like a winner, for us.

These are the perfect size for smaller dogs. We have a small mutt that regular tennis balls are a bit large. I love that these are great for her. She loves chasing them, and a nice large pack for the money. They play like regular tennis balls - with bounce and function. Bright colors to not lose in the lawn.
