Love the collapsible mechanism and is great for travel. My dog is a psycho whenever he sees this come out and does very well with a variety of balls. Is very sturdy I take it whenever we go away

We have owned several of these and I must say they are a life saver. We have a Lab and he loves to run. He will chase a ball till he collapses. It is a long product, but folded in half it is very compact. The quality is great and I haven’t had any issue with the sleeve coming loose. The larger size helps you throw the ball for long distances without killing your arm, not to mention that you keep your hands clean. I would definitely recommend the product! I may buy another just to have a backup.

This went on sale for 5 bucks and couldn’t pass it up. Been using chuck its for years as I am a dog sitter and dog lover. The original one I have has lasted for years. It is faded, scuffed up and has been chewed on but it works just fine I liked the fold up feature of this new model so thought why not. The shorter size fits nicely in my back pack. It fits the ball snugly and I only noticed a bit of difference it where the ball lands. As long as I remember to lock it in place when extended it offers the same safety and stability and the original. I didn’t know it came with a ball when I ordered it but it did and boy does that ball bounce! It has a hole in it that my be why but the dogs love it.

Love this. Fits perfectly into my sling bag. When folded out, it’s sturdy and throws balls super far. Quality plastic. Long enough that I don’t have to bend over to pick balls off the ground either.

Very well made, great quality and doesn't feel cheap at all. It's thick, not flimsy or fragile so you can really swing it to launch a ball. Saves my body that I don't have to bend over to pick up the ball anymore, and saves my shoulder that I don't have to hurl the ball anymore. Another bonus is you don't have to touch a slobbered, soggy ball, or a ball covered in dirt.The foldable design is fantastic because I walk everywhere with my dog and don't want to carry around a long stick that's awkward to hold. This folds down small enough that I can securely put it in the back pocket of my jeans without worrying about it falling out. The thing I love most about it is there's a elastic loop at the end so when you fold it you can latch it securely. This small detail is outstanding because I can also hang it on the strap of my sling bag and with the loop secured it will not slip off the strap.This product is so well made and thought out overall.

My dog enjoys the ball but the thrower feels a bit flimsy. Hasn't broken yet though.

I got this to keep on the car and take with on trips. It takes a different way of throwing than the original, which is what I use daily. The foldability is nice especially when packing into luggage. I thought the length difference was negligible, but between the length and curve being different, causes your throw be wildly different. If your planning to one for home/daily use and one for travel, don't. Just get one and get comfortable with it. The over all construction seems straightforward and sturdy. The had grip is ok and the whole thing folds in half. I'm tall and this helps me not to have to bend over as much to get the ball and throw it with much less effort.
