I was a bit skeptical at first, but this thing can really launch pretty far. It's fairly quiet and doesn't take up too much room.I love that it comes with 10 balls that are the right size for the unit to work. That's more than plenty in my house.Right now my dog has not figured out that she can activate this on her own. She'll sit by hoping someone would load a ball in for her. I believe in time she'll get there, bless her heart. This is great for smaller dogs that may need some extra stimulation during the day and are smart enough to operate it on their own.

We’ve had this machine for just under a week. The first few days were great as it launched every time and the distance options are perfect. Unfortunately, the last few days it started launching the ball only about half the time when it is loaded. The pin clicks in place and you can hear the motor start, then the launcher moves the ball forward an inch without shooting it. Since my dog hasn’t loaded the ball herself yet, I’m doing it for her and can say the ball is never wet or dirty when l load it into the launcher. I may need to return or exchange.

This auto ball chucker is really amazing! Our 3 pups have tired themselves out with it over and over, and it actually has some great distance! We have been using the rubberized set of balls as they're easier to clean than the traditional tennis balls (also included!) and that way Our auto chucker won't get gummy with gross balls. It has multiple settings for distance, and so far it's been solidly performing! Definitely a great one, as I've seen reviews on other brands where they disnt last over a week. This one feels solid, can use batteries or a wall outlet to power it, and with so many balls included, our pups have been able to work off energy inside during the freezing winter temps. Fantastic purchase!

Someone needs to teach my dog how to use it. lolThis is better than I expected. A bit pricey but a solid unit. Just don't leave it outdoors. Or with aggressive chewers. The unit is made of plastic and the balls, some are made like tiny tennis balls and some are made of like a firm rubber, are quite a bit smaller than an average tennis ball. Perhaps about the size of a ping pong ball. Maybe a little bit larger. When it is running you can not hear it at all. No motor runs. Dropping the ball into the chute triggers the mechanism and then there is just a really quiet hum until the ball is launched. We just use one ball at a time but you can load the top with as many balls as you like and they will drop into the chute as one launches. It comes with ten balls. For a small plastic unit that I did not expect much from it really is solid and has multiple functions. You can select short distance (like ten feet), or medium distance, or random distance which includes a third longer distance. Very nice to have those options. You have a choice of plugging it in to an outlet or using batteries to power it. Handy if you want to play somewhere without electricity or a long distance from an outlet. We have an Akita who is a very gently chewer and takes very good care of his stuffed toys. Loves them like his babies. For him the smaller balls work. If you have aggressive chewers or dogs with a hefty bite these smaller balls might not be ideal for your pet. The size of the chute will not take a larger ball.Other than our Akita looking at us like "you expect me to run after something that flew out of a machine? are you mad? " , this is a great little toy for a dog that is an independent player. It will keep your bet busy and active while you try to make dinner or get some work done. If your dog doesn't run after the balls, then expect to get a mini workout in for yourself retrieving the ball/s.I would definitely recommend this ball launcher to my friends and family.

My dog is obsessed with this. I was a little skeptical at first, but this thing has been a lifesaver when he has way more energy than I do. It’s easy to use, and the balls are the right size for small dogs (larger dogs might need a different one). The launcher has different distance settings, so you can adjust it depending on the space you’re in. The only thing to note is that you’ll want to train your dog a little to get them used to dropping the ball back in, but once they figure it out, it’s great for keeping them entertained. If you’ve got a fetch-obsessed pup, this is definitely worth it.

I have a ball launcher for my dogs that takes regular sized balls but my Cavapoo really prefers smaller balls to catch and chase so I ordered this one. Heidi loves it!! I had to stop the game after about 15 minutes because she was going to chase them all night if I let her. She definitely likes the smaller balls in this launcher. These ball launcher machines are fantastic. They are is great during winter to help with exercise. In the summer I'm sure she will love it outside even more. They should be used with supervision because they are so fun that a lot of dogs would keep going until they drop. If your dog loves playing ball, you won't be disappointed. It has several different distance settings to accommodate for distance. I have a long hallway so we have big games dubbed "hall ball", lol. It really is a lot of fun!I highly recommend this product. My dog is very active and she gave it 2 paws up!
