My dogs were still able to go at each other resulting in fighting and biting. I would not recommend!

Soft and useful. I needed them to take my dog to a travel on a bus and this item is obligatory use. He can drink water an eat while he is using it. He can also take it off with its paws but I also bought him some boots to protect them from sun burnings, so with both products he can't take anything off.

I ordered a medium for my 40 pound Chow mix and it fits perfectly. I bought it because year after year Lucy gets worse about getting her nails trimmed. Even the vet had a terrble time with her and marked her down as "very difficult". The peanut butter trick doesn't work anymore, first time she tried to bite. They tried to use a very old hard leather muzzle that they couldn't even manage to get on her. Three people struggled with her, it was just awful.So, I decided to get a softer muzzle and try at home. I am 71 yrs old and cut all of my other dogs' nails except for the last few years with Lucy. Now, at 15 years of age, she has decided to bite.She has allowed me to put the muzzle on and off a few times but I haven't yet tried to cut a nail, working up my nerve, LOL Going to try just a nail ot two at a time.If I can't manage it myself I will take this new, nice soft muzzle with us to the vets the next time. I can slip it on her at the vets before she knows what's coming. It will probably still take three of them to do it but at least no one will get bit. Honestly, I am getting PTSD over this. :(

I just needed something in case she gets Pooses've of balls at the dog park it works great, and I only have to put it on to let her know it is not acceptable and can easily put on or take off. thank you

I have nothing bad to say about this. My big dog likes to play with my little dog and bites his back. This is the best thing I ever purchased from Amazon. My dog is 50lb and if u purchase the proper size they cannot get it off. She'll try but hasn't succeeded.

Other muzzles are black and ugly which causes people negative vibes towards dogs but these are pretty. Other muzzles you have to slip the nose part over while trying to finagle the strap over the back of the dogs head. They don’t work well without treat training. But this one takes a lot less effort to velcro on vs the other ones. Dogs can breathe and drink water.

This does fine enough if you are just looking for a muzzle to keep your pup from full biting. Because the end is open, nipping is still a problem. It also slides off super easy. I have to take the extra strap length and tie it to the collar to keep my dog from sliding it off.
