These muzzles look ridiculous, help to muffle my dudes’ barking, and eliminate excited nipping entirely. I do not use them often, but when I’m expecting strangers ,they’re amazing at preventing the house from devolving into a whirlwind of frenzied barking.
We only got it for her so she can pay attention to use the potty when outside instead of breaking at every car that passes by. She never wears it for more than 3 to 5 mins tops. It has stopped her from barking at everything. Highly recommended. I got the XS for my chubby 3 year old
I already had one of these in yellow, but I wanted a spare, so I bought the one in pink. It is so much more hilarious to see on my dog than the yellow! Hilarity aside, this is a fantastic muzzle: my toy poodle can still breathe and is reasonably comfortable, but now she can't snap at me when I'm grooming her and hit a mat (or if she feels I'm taking too long on her legs). It's easy to snap on and off, too.
I was a bit skeptical about how well this muzzle would work, I have a fear biter and our vet has asked that he be muzzled and I be in the room to hold him for blood draws, shots, nail trims ect. After a few test runs, he doesn’t seem to mind wearing it. I put peanut butter in the bottom and he can stay busy licking it out. He did much better at his check up at the vet’s office today

Easy to put on and she can’t remove. This was purchased because she bite and is a foster dog. I don’t notice any discomfort, seems durable and for how little it cost the value is there. She can’t take it off which I love!

I didn’t know which size would fit my dog since he was in the middle of the small & medium. So I bought both. The small was too short and the medium was too wide. But he looked hilarious in it. The rubber is soft and the other dogs who tried them on didn’t seem to mind them too much

I found out about this product by Lilo the wennie on instagram... looked like a good option compared to caged style ones I found a bit cruel. So I was happy to find this more open alternative and also cute :) ... My small old lady is a 11 lb small poodle and I got the size M, good fit! but the awful smell! OMG... I let it air for weeks and nothing... then kept it under a mix of dog shampoo and water for 4 weeks cleaning it and changing it every other day and helped! But still I can smell just a bit of that chemical odor... but is way better... I would never put this on my furry baby smelling like that I'm sure would be so unconfortable and even harmful... about performance: it works like 90% of the time the other 10% my doggo tries to take it out but I can easily clean her ears, paws, nails without a sassy bite... so please if you get a smelly one consider doing the same.

Its a good product and design is hilarious, but medium was not sized true to listing posted on item. It was much larger and more of a large size. I had my doubts when buying due to reviews about tightness as my dog's measurements were 5" around mouth, but medium practically fit over his head. Had to repurchase a small size, hoping it will fit my 6lbs pomeranian in time for his first groom appt.

I got this for my daughter's little 2nd hand Pomeranian. She came from a home with toddlers & other small children & was with them before she was weaned.Needless to say, this pup, who was 4 months of age when she came to us, has serious issues with getting her nails clipped, being combed, etc. She learned to nip & throw a temper tantrum any time we need to do any sort of grooming....and she's pretty naughty too when she has to see the Vet.I bought the small & thought it would be too large when it arrived, but it fit her perfectly. It's a little loose around her 'beak' but she accepted it, easy peasy. She was more distracted by it & didn't quite know what to expect, so we were able to give her small treats through the beak to positively reinforce her cooperation.I worked in an Animal Hospital for + 25 years, and my daughter has been working in the same field for the last 14 years. We are both experienced in restraint and using all sorts of muzzles in a Veterinary setting.This will not be adequate protection in a professional setting, where the dog does not know you, however, it's perfect in a home setting where your can take your time acclimating the pet to wearing the duck beak muzzle.This was a low to no-stress way for us to begin to teach our pup to accept nail trims & grooming isn't going to kill her, as she was convinced it was.The material feels like it's silicone, it's a soft high quality material in my opinion & not harsh at all.

The reviews are very mixed but I decided to take a chance since my 11 lb. poodle would still snap at me while being groomed. Needless to say, he'd bite the vet during his visit, so he needs to wear a muzzle while he's there. I ordered a medium based on measurements of the poodle's muzzle and the reviews I read. I ordered a medium "used - like new" to save an extra buck. It came without its original package and instructions. I figured that I know how to put on a muzzle so instructions are not necessary. It turned out to fit perfectly. I had to adjust the strap to make it pretty small. I guess my pooch has a small head and a big mouth. It fits snuggly around his muzzle but he can still take a treat and eat it. He didn't like it of course and tried to rub it on the ground, so I can't leave it on him without watching him. He'd probably tear it apart by rubbing it on the ground since it is soft. It will definitely come in handy next time I clip his hair or take him to the vet. He looks so funny and cute in it, I think next Halloween he'll dress up Donald the Duck.
