I have two, but the vet said it was too small, so I got a size down. The smaller one fits much better. I have a large reactive border collie, so I love this when we have off leash time. Plus it looks good.

Works very well. My dog got used to wearing it in no time and I felt comfortable with her around my grandkids.

This muzzle is lightweight and doesn't have the strap down the center, which seemed less intrusive for a dog not used to wearing one. I like the ease of just putting the one strap around her head. But my dog would be able to remove it herself quite easily. I like the simplicity of it and it looks better than other heavier weight muzzles. Another down-side is that it’s not completely obvious which way is up & down. I have to look at it and think it through each time. I could see it being put on wrong quite easily. I'm not sure of the fit; in the picture I could have made the strap a little tighter which could help with keeping it on, but might irritate the bridge of her snoot.

This muzzle was a great fit for my 40lb American bully and felt like it wasn’t giving her much discomfort around her snout or head from the straps. She didn’t LOVE it, of course, and eventually did find it and chew the rubber piece away from the strap [warning, she thought it was a rubber toy] but I would get it again.

For my Malinios , who is on the smaller side, the # 5 size muzzle fits great. Panting is not a problem, she is able to fully do that what is most important to me. This muzzle seems sturdy enough to prevent bites, but is lightweight for longer wear . What I miss is just a option to hook it also to the collar

I ordered a size 2 due to it saying it isn't meant for small breeds. I went ahead and measured my dog before I bought. I went to order a size 2 because I wanted to make sure he would have a bit of extra pant space. When I received it it wasn't even his size. It would've fit my Maltese mix. Why state that it "isn't for small dogs" but send me one that would've fit my Maltese. I didn't even use it and we're in a return process right now. Really disappointed because my dog has excitement reactivity towards dogs and if they get too close he pulls and wants to play. He doesn't bite but jumps wants to run and play. I personally don't like that because I give my dog his own schedule to be free and run by himself and not with dogs. I say this because sometimes he doesn't like when dogs come up to him and he'll start growling but it's a rare sight to see. Was really hoping this product was gonna work. Size 2 is 8-9 '' if you are looking for a muzzle I would try going for a different brand or getting one of the larger sizes. I didn't even get to use this yet as to why it's a 2 star. Maybe once I get a new one we can actually have a good review. Please refer to these sizes and not the ones on the product advertisement

I picked up this muzzle because my dog helps me with my barn chores, but she is NOTORIOUS for picking things up off the ground and eating them.I actually really like this muzzle; one, it's got these pretty and subtle rainbow flecks in it, and that just makes me happy. But two, this fits her really well. When I first got it, trying to adjust it to her head, I thought it was too big, so I set it aside for a day or two in frustration since I knew I'd measured her. It's just because I had it on her muzzle and was adjusting the strap is why I thought it didn't fit right.Once I got it adjusted properly, it's been perfect. I did have the collar/adjustment a little loose on her initially, so she was able to get it off, but since then, it's stayed on. My alternative plan was to get some velcro straps and attach the harness for the muzzle to a collar. But so far, it's been working out great.She also has lots of room to pant (you can see in one of the photos her tongue is sticking out), bark, drink water, etc.I would recommend this muzzle if you too have a trash/ground eater and don't want to worry about paying vet bills due to obstruction!
