I needed to fill a HUGE gap in my foundation. Yes, I could see the sky from my basement. I stuffed a few rags into the space and then filled with this. So far, it has stayed in place and kept the hole covered (about 8 months). Yes, I have had the foundation looked at and was told it's fine, just really, really old (Stone).

This stuff latches on, expands, fills gaps/holes and insulates effectively. Be warned that a little goes a long way and to also wear gloves / clothes that you aren't worried about potentially getting the foam on.. because it's hard to get off skin and definitely doesn't come off clothing/fabric.

I was dealing with a serious wasp issue and couldn't stop them from entering into an opening near my air conditioning pipe. Tried many of the natural remedy's to get bees to go away, but they just weren't working.. Sprays would deter them temporarily, but they came back.. I waited till dusk to gather the courage to run up to the small gap and spray this in quickly as bees started to emerge.. I was able to get the goop in the gaps as it started to swell. This stuff formed a tough barrier that stopped the bees from entering the hole.. I had to deal with bee's that somehow found there way into our duct work, but they eventually died out after a few weeks. The spray foam hardened into an unimpregnable barrier and have not had issues with bees since.. Great stuff, only complaint was that it was pretty much a one and done situation with the can, not sure once you started spraying it if you could have saved the rest for later. It hardened in the tube and I had to discard the remaining.. Did its job though!

It’s a very good product for filling gaps. The foam settles down as some type of thermocol after drying. It can be used for split AC pipes holes in place of white cement. Also for gaps in windows and doors for keeping the insects out.But use the product carefully, as it expands after few minutes. You might end up wasting some of it while trying to fill the entire gap/hole with the foam. It’s better to put small quantity of foam in the gap/hole and let it expand. Then use it again if required.Be very very careful while using it. Use gloves. And Avoid it sticking to anywhere on the body, specially hairs on the head, facial hairs, hands and legs. It’s very difficult to remove after, might have to cut hairs too.And it's good if you use the entire Can in one go. Saving it for later is little difficult, as the nozzle and its discharge pipe gets clogged.

I recently used the Loctite Tite Foam Big Gaps Spray Foam Sealant for insulating gaps and cracks around my home, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. What stands out immediately is its effectiveness in sealing even the largest gaps. Whether around windows, doors, or pipes, this foam expands to fill voids, creating a tight, durable seal that prevents drafts and improves energy efficiency. It's been particularly effective in areas prone to air leaks, helping to maintain a more consistent indoor temperature. The ease of application is another big plus. The nozzle design allows for precise control over where the foam goes, minimizing waste and mess. I found it straightforward to use, even for someone like me who isn't a professional contractor. The foam adheres well to various surfaces, ensuring a secure seal once cured. One thing to note is the curing time. While it sets relatively quickly, allowing me to see results within a few hours, full curing may take longer in colder or more humid conditions. It's essential to follow the instructions regarding temperature and humidity for optimal performance.Overall, the Loctite Tite Foam Big Gaps Spray Foam Sealant has been a game-changer for improving the insulation in my home. Its reliable sealing capabilities and ease of use make it a must-have for any DIYer looking to enhance energy efficiency and comfort without the need for professional help.

I used this foam in conjunction with some copper mesh to plug a roughly 6" x 9" hole in the soffit of my rental house that my landlord has not bothered to fix despite my complaints and despite trapping multiple opossums and cats that climb into the attic through the hole which is located about 3" above the roof of an attached shed. Yes, the foam is super messy, especially since there wasn't room to easily work. But I would spray some of this into the mesh after I balled it up, and then stuffed the hole with about 8 such balls and waited for the foam to expand and lock everything in place. A little more foam around the edges, and it all dried hard as a rock. Everything is protected above by the roof of the house, and I am hopeful this will hold.

Product works--but the spray hose jams almost instantly with the foam. The hose is nearly impossible to clean because the stuff is so sticky. If you get any of the foam on your hands, it is extremely difficult to get off--even with paint thinner.

I really was looking for adhesive expanding foam and this works very well for that purpose.I found it really easy to work with. When first applied it becomes a marshmallow fluff consistency which can be smoothed or shoved into cracks.Applying below material it does drip a bit creating stands hanging down or dripping off. Many of these can be smoothed by a gloved hand or tool. The next step of curing the material will start to become more like a stale marshmallow. The exterior is no longer sticky to glove or tool, and it can be smooshed flattening the air out of it.Last phase the material is fully hardened and fluffed. It has slight give and rebound. My application was on an camper around insulation to help make sure it stayed in place with travel. 1000+ miles and everything is holding strong.Very happy and recommended.

The product as such is really good. Be careful how much you spray. It expands almost beyond twice the volume. Shape and cut it while it's still soft. Recommend a really sharp knife, preferably thinly oiled to prevent the material from sticking to the knife. Moisturise your hands to protect your skin. Very very difficult to get it off.Cleaning the tube after use is important or the thing is useless the second time. Use a thinner in a small piece of cloth at the end of a wire and pull it through the plastic tube or the tube will get blocked.Very utilitarian.
