It's a good idea to cut a ring of plastic to use as a tool to get the plunger out. For the smaller size I used a piece of house vac tube. Once cut it can be placed back in and then the plunger can be squeezed out. The result is a mess with all the drywall compound, but it helps get things in the gaps.

I use these for drywall repair to ceilings. Makes it easier to match the knock down texture in small areas to the rest of the ceiling.

They work... Are EASY to clean for reuse...BUT, the removable end (that makes them easy to clean) makes them hard to get into the gun. They do go into the gun but, you have to put a LITTLE effort in.I'm on the fence about these.

Never knew product existed or that I needed it, until I DID!I used it to apply grout between floor tiles.Also used it to salvage a tube of expensive caulk that had blown through a cardboard tube.

Great reusable caulking tubes that can be filled with a variety of materials. I used grout in one of mine to regrout the tile in my bathroom shower. Worked great and was a lot quicker and less messy than using a putty knife or trowel to apply the grout mixture.

I bought these because I was mortaring between bricks. These are not heavy duty and maybe you could reuse them for just Caulk, but they sure weren't easy to take the top off not replace the Back cap. Just not very sturdy and would not recommend for anything aside from very watery Caulk.

I got these suckers so it would be easier and more efficient to pack grout into the corners of showers, even though several reviews said that it wasn’t a good idea. If you buy good grout, and are patient with mixing it to the right consistency, you’d be amazed how effective these simple pieces of plastic are. Is pretty messy, and very tough to wrestle apart after emptying a tube to clean and reload though.

This is useful in two ways; for gunk that is not supplied in caulking cartridges such as filler or grouting paste and to get the remains out of a cartridge that has hardened where the nozzle attaches. It is easy to clean unless the material is adhesive in nature and can be used again and again as long as the components are cleaned before storage.
