Window frames move away from the siding or doors shift against the brick. They move when the temperature changes, the wind blows, or the ground swells. Big Stretch provides the adhesion and flexibility to handle the movement. Big Stretch is a 100% acrylic latex, high-performance caulk with powerful adhesion and elasticity. Big Stretch will stretch and compress to absorb just about any movement a home can dish out. It spans gaps up to 2" wide and stretches up to 500% of the original joint size without cracking.

Big Stretch is perfect for many interior and exterior applications, including: windows, doors, siding, vents, soffits, eaves, and baseboards. It is also good for crown molding and sound proofing interior walls. Big Stretch should not be used or specified in areas of water submersion, where frequent or prolonged puddling occurs, or in areas of high foot or vehicle traffic (i.e., swimming pools, tubs, showers, sidewalks, driveways, highways, and patios). Not for use on roofs, where prolonged dampness or possible submersion may inhibit curing.

Works as advertised. And...red caulk isn't easy to find! Sashco makes it! Curing time is somewhat long compared with other caulks, but if you plan for it, no issue. I bought a cellar door for my red brick home. The door is painted red. I needed red caulk. Clear MIGHT have worked...or looked weird. This was perfect. Great product.

A life saver. I'd been restaining and caulking all the trim work around the house. I'd started with white caulking and that would require several coats of stain to cover up. I ordered this redwood stain and it almost perfectly matches so 1 coat of stain does the trick. Dries fast. Doesn't shrink and pull away. Love it.

Best caulk ever. The color was spot on. My exterior eaves are all wood beams and I stained them with a redwood stain which came out a little more of a brownish red, so this caulk was a perfect match. I would describe the color as a reddish rust, so a mix between brown and red.As far as consistency, it goes on very smooth, not cakey or clumpy at all, easy to spread with a fingertip, easy clean up.I'm ordering another tube because as you know, once you find something perfect it gets discontinued.

Like a lot of people with a brick house over time you have small cracks and holes in random spots due to doorbells, shudders, and other things that come with owning a brick house. This stuff is really amazing and for me it matched up with the color of my bricks. We went around the house and caulked in holes and chips all around. The color is spot on and is easy to put in with just a standard caulk gun. It's flexible and was even good at sealing up around the wood for my crawlspace. Would definitely buy again.
