This is a replacement for the first one I bought and the first tube and the replacement tube are unusable. Hard as a rock. I was gonna go to Lowe’s and buy one yesterday and they assured me the replacement would be good. It’s not!! Don’t spend your money and waste your time waiting on replacements that are just as bad as the first

Needed to seal down some architectural shingles that got lifted in an 80 mph wind shear. I was luckier than most, my shingles didn't tear or break. In the past, I had mixed results with cheap asphalt repair products. They all instructed laying a house brick on the repair overnight. I had numerous repairs , so that wasn't an option. Besides, who wants to go back up on a 25 foot roof the next day to see if it worked or carry 30 bricks up there. A friend that works as a roofing contractor recommended this Geocel 4500. He said to wait for a sunny day and just hold the repair down with my hand for about a minute. He laughed about the house brick thing. This stuff is the real deal. I treated it like contact adhesive. Apply it to the surface, press it down, pull it apart slightly, then put your weight on it to seal it down. This stuff sticks! Did all the lifted shingles in about 45 minutes. I wore an old pair of mechanic's gloves and just threw them out when done. It's pretty unforgiving if you get it on you .Had another storm roll through a couple days later and every repair held firm. Only 45 mph wind this time, but they held.I didnt have any problem with hardening in the tube. I must've got a fresh batch. I set it in the sun on an asphalt driveway for a couple of hours before I started. It was nice and pliable on a 75 degree day. This worked as advertised.

I removed some satellite brackets from our house roof yesterday. The brackets weren’t being used, and they were an eyesore that I got tired of looking at while outside doing various projects. Once the brackets were removed, I cut pieces of flashing to slide underneath the composition shingles to cover the lag screw holes. I applied a generous amount of this sealant to both sides of the flashing before sliding the flashing under the shingles. I then used this sealant to fill the holes in the shingles down to the flashing. This product is messy, so wear some thin rubber gloves. I won’t know how this product worked until it rains. I will continue this review after it rains.🙏Returning to update review! It has rained numerous times on the repair site, and no leaks whatsoever. I’m sold on this product!

It does a great job on flashing and roofing issues. The downside is it is messy and doesn't have a long shelf life, and very short once opened and partially used.

I did a lot of reading about gluing/bonding EPDM and pretty much everyone said there were only one or two products that works well. All of them where in the $100 -$300 range and the smallest quantity you could get was 1 gallon pail. Way too much for my needs. I needed to glue the top edge of my EPDM add-a-room roof to the plywood surface before taking it up the wall and tucking/gluing it under the RV roof membrane. I am truly impressed with how well this stuff bonds and seals. The only wish I have is that it would be about half the price, but really I shouldn't complain.Hats off to the vendor (pets and ponds) for fast shipping - Thanks!
