I'll probably get another one or two models after seeing and using the lamp in person. Works great and the extra wicks included are a bonus to have on hand. The sellers great job on the packing the item too!

Looks nice, makes decent light. Leaks from where the columns are attached to the base. I'll have to see if I can line the seam with epoxy, or if this was just a waste.

This is my second oil lamp, and it seems to be just as great as the first one—just smaller. The build quality is top notch, I haven't had any issues with it so far. The replacement wicks it comes with are really nice to have and they burn really well. It gets quite bright and produces a decent amount of heat, which for an emergency lighting/heating device for me, that works perfectly! It can be a bit tricky to fill, especially with larger gallon+ sized bottles of oil. But I'll just need to get a funnel or something so I'm not trying to pour it into such a small hole.

I love this style of oil lantern, and this 10"in #76 is just right for grab-n-go backyard activities at night, camping, and sudden power outages. It holds 8oz of fuel, and that little bit of fuel can burn continuously for up to 15 hrs, and put off 8 candle power illumination. Excellent. The glass globe is high quality. When it comes to smoking, it's all about the fuel you use, and if you keep your wick trimmed and at a good height while burning. So, this lantern doesn't smoke for me and it burns clean. I like to clean and refill my lanterns up after using to be ready for the next usage. The housing is good quality metal, good welds, and painted well for the lantern's longevity....the fuel tank is tight as a drum and doesn't leak. Excellent quality and value.

This lantern is lighter in weight than what I remember this type of lantern being. I think I would prefer a more sturdy and heavier lamp. This seems adequate for light usage or during emergencies. It conveniently comes with replacement wicks.

The metal of this lamp is a little thinner than I expected, given the name Dietz. However, the lamp works well enough for my needs. I prefer oil lamps when the power goes out during a storm or for other unknown reasons. So far, the oil reservoir shows no signs of leaking. The wick lit easily enough and the glow is sufficient to provide a little soft light in an otherwise dark room. The lantern won't be used often; so, I'm pleased with it for the few times I might need it.

This is a great little lantern! The word "Charming" comes to mind. The black and gold colors make it look pretty classy, and it produces a nice amount of light. The tank does not leak, and when the lantern is off, you cannot smell the fuel from the tank. It produces a bit of heat, but due to the design, it is diffused away pretty effectively. The lantern was extremely well packed, and came with a LOT of spare wicks. I used some paraffin oil to get it started, but I have read that it is actually much brighter with kerosene, and the 'fancy' 1K kerosene you buy in the store in gallon jugs doesn't have much more odor than the paraffin oil either, so I think I will give that a shot. If you need a ton of light, you should probably just get an LED lantern, though - the advantage of this is that the light is relaxing, with no glare, and far superior vibes. Also, I think that if the stuff ever hit the fan, a gallon of lamp oil and this lamp would give you light long after all of your batteries ran out! Does anyone make a USB charger that runs on kerosene???
