This candle-type gas lantern uses butane gas or isobutane gas as fuel and does not use a mantle.
Easy to use without the need for a mantle, and designed to ignite just by bringing a lighter close to it.

Capacity of empty gas tank is 15g. It can last about 1-2 hours when using gas lanter on this tank.

When put on or take off glove, hold the lantern body and remove the glove little by little.
A Snow Peak Lantern Glass Globe can also be attached.
You can turning the flame adjustment dial counterclockwise from the top makes the flame bigger, and turning it clockwise makes the flame.
If you use the multi-adapter Z15 (sold separately), you can fill isobutane gas in it.
There is a "1/4 inch screw compatible screw hole" on the bottom of the tank, and you can attach a "mini tripod" used for cameras. (*Mini tripod is not included.)

As a regular camper for many years I have a large number of lanterns of all kinds because pitching a tent in the countryside means that it gets really dark once the sun goes down. I especially enjoy candle light and have some cracking lantern versions of those which is essentially what this is, a gas version of a wax candle lantern. It is beautifully crafted and super solid with a real quality feeling. The metal parts are smooth and properly finished whilst the glass lantern cover is thick and strong so should manage little knocks. Filling the tank was simple and effective with the CP250 cartridge after which the lantern lit first time giving off a gas version of candle light. No issues in the wind where it stayed lit giving off a warm light. Do remember that as will all lanterns the glass does get hot in use so allow it to cool before putting it into the foam padded wooden case which is a great way to store it. Thats it, one of those wonderful items that you essentially don't need until you get it and then just enjoy having something so well made.

Bought this as a simple light for when the power goes out but I've found that i like it for my bug out bag as a light source. My next test is to see how long it will stay running per fill. Beyond that love the product and may pick up a few more.

Bought the Gas Lantern T-1D15 version, the one that comes with the little tank for butane. Theres a version available without it - anyway, the lantern works perfectly, beautiful light on butane, an overpowered candle if you will.Few things to note: 1. This, nor will any other soft butane light of this style WITHOUT a mantle give off a lot of light, expect dim, cozy light - this is about ambience, coziness and comfort. Its a clean burning candle. IF YOU WANT MORE LIGHT: Get any camping lantern with a mantle, physics dictate that even the least powerful (but still cozy mantle light will give you a lot of light.. cough 300lumen propane.. cough).2. There are two versions of this light: one that comes with a little silver butane tank/base and one without. I got the one with the tank. The instructions for the one with the base/tank don't explain why the light flickers or any other issues you might encounter - but the Amazon page does.The tank is shipped empty for legal and safety reasons. Fill it with your choice of fuel, ronson multifill and bernzomatic Butane from Home Depot both work fine.1st time you use the tank, the light will go nuts, be prepared. When you use up your 1st tank/base and refill it, IF you overfill, it will go nuts. Just be prepared.IF YOU USE A EN417 canister thats pre-filled, be it of any size, it'll work perfectly right off the bat. For convenience reasons I tried the smallest (100-110g from Jetboil and a local one) and it was perfect. You can use it with a huge tank (16oz/450g/1lb EN417) for a longer run time.10/10

Awesome little gas powered candle, only complaint I have is the knob is extremely sensitive as you only need it on a very small amount, and it will produce a light glow. Turned up you can get a 12" flame out of it so be very careful with it, there is no regulator and only a pin valve, to improve the product a restriction before the valve would greatly improve it

I wanted something like an adjustable candle to heat small tools. This is it. Nice machining and anodization. Really cool device. I wish it could burn for a bit longer, but I suppose I can buy a larger tank from campingmoon.

It's a good looking piece of kit, but too small to really to really light up very much. Buy a screw on light directly the gas canister, cheaper, easier, and last longer. I keep mine full and on the mantel next to a lighter for emergencies, but long term functionality is a no go.
