This is a nice EVSC, the positive being the on screen display on the charger that gives a status. It can connect through an app to your smartphone which allows scheduled charging. Charging for a specific length of time or just full charge. It also allows you to lock out use unless you activate the charger from your phone app and also to set the amperage for charging so if you are connected to a 240 volt connected supply you can reduce the amperage to as low as 8 amps from a maximum of 32 amps or if you are using a 110 volt supply that needs to be shared the amperage can be reduced to avoid unexpected breaker activation. The only function missing is that it doesn't allow a cap to charging percentage which would have made it invaluable.Great value though and comes with a 110 volt adapter and a storage case that is nice and compact with a size that is smaller than some lunch coolers. On the negative side the clip to secure that charge plug doesn't raise high enough to allow easy release though in the past few uses it has improved a little so many have just needed breaking in.Comes with wall holster and charge head clip with a built in cable holder and of course a storage bag if you want to use it when travelling. It is a 32 amp unit which more ho.es can accommodate without a new breaker panel upgrade. For most home users still sufficient to keep their EV running for commute to and from work etc.

This product is a pain in the BUTT to figure out initially. It does have scheduling, it just takes sometime to figure out. It absolutely does the charging in a timely matter. How to schedule:First thing is to turn off the "quick_start" (that way it doesnt start charging right as you plug it in)Second: Creat a new scene in the Smartlife APP (I named mine " Charger on")Click on "Schedule"Pick the time you want it to come onPress "Once" on the top right and choose the days you want it to come onPress "Next"In the "Then Box" press the + signPress "Control a Single Device"Press the "Romas EV Charger"Press "Switch"Press "ON"Press "Next"Press "Save" on the bottomDo another SCENE after this (I called mine "Charger Off" do everything the same EXCEPT SWITCH = OFF this time.Hope this helps those out there trying to figure this product out.I have been using this for the past week without issue.

The device itself has a TIMER not a schedular and the interface on the device does not have fucntional buttons or menus to set the timer with. In order to do that you need wifi in order to setup bluetooth. This process is very clunky as again no useful interface on the device. Loads of devices have straight forward bluetooth pairing, why is this process such a mess? Once you get the app installed, it only allows time of day charge settings, it is not truly scheduled. So if you have different rates M-F than you do on the weekend for example you are out of luck, only able to set which hours of the 24 hour cycle you want the charger on for. Also worth noting the app you download immediately prompts you to upgrade to the subscription version upon opening and does not allow you to use a standard version. VERY Dissappointed with this product!!!

Had this charger for about a month and it has worked great. Solidly built. Set it to 16 amps and charge it overnight. Can set it to 32 amps if you want to charge quicker. I read reviews of similar chargers that revert to initial settings after changing settings, but this one stays at the last settings you choose. Can set up charging in the app, but my only issue is that to get sms messages, such as charger stopped for some reason, you need to pay for that service in the app

Quick and easy WiFi setup using Smart Life app, works great at L2 charging at 16A on a dedicated 240V 20A GFCI circuit (for home use) and the 120 adapter is nice to have for portable use at 120V.
