This product works as expected. It charges my 2017 Bolt EV just like the ChargePoint EVSE I used in the past. I was a bit perplexed by the instructions, both in the wordiness and how they were very specific yet did not correlate well with the exact model. They seemed to be generally applicable to QIAO EVSE's (i.e. "chargers") but some aspects contradicted the actual product features. Compared to other 40A EVSE's this is a good value. While it is an extra "thing" to mount, I do like that the cradle/dock is not part of the main unit, as this more easily facilitates mounting the cradle/dock where needed and just near the outlet feeding the EVSE by default.

This is a replacement charger for your electric vehicle. It works with a wide assortment of cars. I needed another one because I occasionally spend the night at my parent's home, so I bought this one. This is a Level 2 charger, which uses 220 volts, so I made sure to buy the one that matched the configuration of the outlet my folks have in their garage. Level 2 charges a bit faster than the level 1, so this was perfect for my needs. I used it with my Tesla (it requires an adapter but otherwise works fine). Very pleased with this purchase

This compact charger looks as good as it performs. Easy plug n play install with the NEMA 14-50 connector. This charger has robust cabling and looks very durable. Fully featured WIFI/BT and APP functionality. Gives you 25 Feet of cable and has a large display. Solid charger.

The installation was straightforward, and it functions well. The ability to adjust amperage on the fly through the app is fantastic and user-friendly. The LCD screen automatically turns off when idle to conserve energy.However, as others noted, the cable version rated for 50A only reaches 48A in the app, making the 48A plug version a more practical choice. The charging cable is difficult to handle. While the app has numerous features, the charging log is only accessible through email export and lacks detailed information.Additionally, there's also no way to monitor temperature, a feature available on other models.

Very large unit compared to my other unit that was also 40 amp. Better display by a long shot looks modern and the hanging bracket is also very neat. J1772 connection is also well crafted and the unit has an emergency shut down button on the side. and a great and the app is very easy to set up and gives a lot of data including the option to export charge history monthly, quarterly, 6 month and 12. I’m using 50 amp plug but also the option to hard wire.It’s day 1 but out the box this looks like a great value charger. The quality of the unit took me by surprise I hope it continues to deliver.
