Why do you need an RV water filter?

How to choose the best RV water filter?
Microns - All RV water filter sellers will list the micron rating to show the smallest size of particles that will filter out, the smaller the micron rating, the more particles will keep out.
Flow Rate - Smaller micron rating isn't always better, because they need to take out more particles, which will reduce the water pressure. To ensure there is little or no flow loss, a filter with a higher micron rating or a larger pump is required.
Lifespan - It should work through the whole camping season.
- Installation:
- 1) Attach incoming water supply(hose) to filter with arrow pointing in direction of water flow
- 2) Attach to RV or watercraft as shown.
- 3) Filter can also be installed ahead of hose at faucet. Stop capped in cool place. Protect from freezing.

I just purchased these last week and use them for the first time a couple days ago. They were super easy to use an attached to the end of the hose. The water actually tasted good and there was no problem with the flow rate. I would highly recommend these filters.

Good product. Have used many of the same thing from other sources. These seem to get the job done with filtration. Only gave it 4 out of 5 Stars due to the fact it just came in it's original packaging. No discretion. Could have been re- packaged for discretion. Not a good idea to have it on display exactly what it is on your doorstep.

I bought these to use on the water hose to refill my pool when the water gets low. It filters out all the crap. We have iron in our water and it keeps me from having to buy ascorbic acid every spring to turn my liner back to its normal color. Otherwise the iron turns it a light rusty orange color.

This item performs better than the Rv brand. Water seems to have a much better taste and the water flows better.
