A great filter for our washing machines. We have well water and it was recommended by the washer installation guy. It was easy to install and has worked well for us.

I'm pleased with these water filters. I ordered them to use with our travel trailer, and they seem to do a good job of improving the water quality in our camper. We typically do not drink the water from our camper, since one can never be sure of the water quality at campsites, but I feel like we probably could when using these filters. While using these filters the water in our camper has no noticeable color, odor, or particulate, so I'd say that they're effective at filtering out any contaminants. I appreciate the simplicity of these filters, and how easy they are to use. I think they're a good value for a two-pack. I'd buy them again.Recommended.

Good price for what is essentially a sediment filter. Our water in the RV park is generally very good, but occasionally they flush the lines which can cause sediment to run through the lines. This is good protection to keep the junk out of the lines. No substitute for Reverse Osmosis to keep out micro-organisms, but is perfect to keep out sediment. The 0.5 GPM flow rate seems inaccurate. The flow is better than that.

I have been buying these style filters for a couple of years now and when i saw these come up I figured i would give them a try. They appear to work great and flows water just fine.The only reason I knocked off a star is because they seem noticeably lighter than other filters i have purchased.This filter weighs 304 Grams and the camco weighs 542 Grams.I question the ratings of these as well. The box says 0.5 GPM and 60 PSI Max. The 60 PSI seems to be a common rating but the 0.5 GPM is weirdly low. I ran this through my garden hose and would estimate its flow at least 5-10 GPM. On the labels there is an arrow labeled “HIGH FLOW” seems odd to list something high flow and then show a 0.5 GPM rating. This filter appears to flow water a little faster than the camco filter. I kind of expected this due to the lighter weight of the filter.Overall I don’t expect these to last as long as other brands but they are also much cheaper so I suppose it’s a wash if this is a better deal or not.Another thing to note is camco lists they test to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53. This one only lists that they test to NSF/ANSI 42. NSF/ANSI 52 is a test for lead so im not sure if that is really important or not but its worth noting that some of the cost savings here is most likely coming from the lesser testing.The flexible hose included is extremely stiff. I’m not sure who thinks this would make a good strain relief. It would still put a ton of side pressure on the hose fitting going into the RV. Do yourself a favor and get a 90 degree hose adapter so that the filter hangs straight down if you’re using this on a camper or RV.

These filters (2 pack) come with a short flexible hose to make installation to your camper/hose/spigot much easier. There was dark sediment that flowed out when the water was first turned on. This is to be expected. I let the water flow through it for about a minute (turning the water on and off and shaking/tapping the filter). This is always a good thing to do so that any charcoal dust will be flushed out. It filters well and removes most of the chlorine taste. So far, I am very pleased with this filter set.
