I purchased the water filter for our RV in an effort to improve the quality of water at RV parks. I also want something easy to install and uninstall. This water filter provided great water quality and is easy to install. Completely removed the hose type test in the water.

NOTE** I have only used this once. I like the brass fittings and the ease to set up at my RV. We camped at one of our normal locations where the water is fine but there was a slight taste. With this filter there was no taste. Flow was a little lower than our old filter but that is to be expected as this filters more. Water pressure and flow were still acceptable.

Filter is great, 50 psi is too high for most trailers/rvs. You will most likely still need your water pressure regulator on the other end of this thing or risk your fragile trailer plumbing.

I just received this filter. I broke it down to inspect it. O ring sealing, detachable bracket, easily assembled, and housing looks like it will last for years, very sturdy. filter wrench provided . Braided water line also provided with teflon tape. Won't be able to use it until March. Manufacturer has thought of everything. So far looks like great value. Will provide more of a review after use.

I can't say enough good things about the FRIZZLIFE RV Water Filter! This little device has been a game-changer for our RV adventures. Not only does it provide clean and safe drinking water, but it also significantly improves the taste and smell of the water.Installation was a breeze, and the compact design is perfect for our limited RV space. The filter has proven to be highly effective in removing sediment, chlorine, and other impurities, ensuring that we have access to top-quality water wherever we go.One of the best features is the long lifespan of the filter. We've used it for several trips now, and it still performs just as well as the day we installed it. This not only saves us money in the long run but also gives us peace of mind knowing we're always drinking clean water. The flow rate is impressive, and we never experience any drop in water pressure. Plus, the included accessories make maintenance a breeze. The customer service provided by FRIZZLIFE is outstanding, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. If you're an avid RVer like us, or simply want to ensure access to clean water on your adventures, the FRIZZLIFE RV Water Filter is an absolute must-have. This is a simple way to have safer water in your RV. The camp grounds often have chlorine in there water and that is not just bad to drink bu also bad to breath in the shower.

So far so good. We ordered this because I figured we should be filtering the water for our RV a bit better. We've always used a 20 micron in-line filter, which will still work fine for a pre-filter, but we're in a campground with well water and a very metallic smell in the water that the 20 micron filter won't touch. We do use another filter for our drinking water that we put in the refrigerator so it's cold, and I don't taste anything past that filter. Still, I wanted something to filter the water better for everything that enters the RV, i.e. shower, brushing teeth, water for our dogs, etc. So far (one day in) this seems to do the trick quite nicely. I was concerned about potential pressure loss, but frankly it's not that significant at this point. I can still shower with it just fine. If we ever need much higher pressure, we'll just turn the water pump on and use water from our fresh tank. I don't have any pressure reduction prior to the 20 micron filter or the Frizzlife filter, but I have a 50-55psi reducer in-line between the Frizzlife and where it enters the RV just to protect the RV plumbing. The Frizzlife filter seems to be well designed, with good accessories and an easy install process. After adding the Frizzlife I no longer have that metallic smell from the well water when showering. We'll see how long it lasts, but so far so good. UPDATE: 3 months in with full-time use and it's completely clogged. Still, I think it did it's job, will order replacement filters and try to get a better pre-filter in-line ahead of the Frizzlife.

I chose to install this attached to my water control panel. I think it was OK. When I turned my water on the rate of flow was decreased by half. I figured must be the water filter itself. When I look at the Brass Garden Hose Adapter, 3/4” GHT Female x 1/2” NPT Male Connector,GHT to NPT Adapter Brass Fitting it turned out to be a regulator not just an adapter. My experience had me look at this before I bought because I didn't want this type of fixed regulator and they said it would only be an adapter. When I've had them before they reduce pressure to about 50 lbs. as advertised but restrict flow. I switch to the more expensive adjustable water regulator and my flow was restored. So I orderedan adaptor (Brass Garden Hose Adapter, 3/4” GHT Female x 1/2” NPT Male Connector,GHT to NPT Adapter Brass Fitting) to replace the regulator and I hope my Flow will be restored. If not then it will be the restriction caused by the filter and I will live with that.
