I needed a full time filter system. Tried the "little" in-line plastic "toys". Never could get them to not leak! The Nasibey oozes can-do just by it's appearance - two big canisters and a frame to hold them! Plus you replace them every 6-months (recommended by the mfr). But it gives one confidence that they're working and not fouled (or worse).Do they work? I would assume so - been using them for 4+ years and having gotten sick yet! There is a warning tho. I lost the "wrench" in a hurricane. And the canisters are the dickens to tighten without it!

These work great for filtering the well water coming into our rv. Be careful with the gold threads, they are razor sharp.

I was working on streamlining my rv's water system and figured that i might as well add a filter and accumulator tank along with changing where the pump sat so that if something went wrong i could more easily remove it, everything else installed like clockwork along with the replumbing of the fresh water intake system was fairly easy and straightforward. Then the filter. The filter was the biggest pain in my butt because the inlet side decided to cross thread and leaked like a siv. and the o-rings are so soft they would curl and squeeze out the sides even when tightened by hand causing a leak. i had to wrap the adapter fittings with so much ptfe tape that it almost didn't fit at all to check for leaks. It did give me an ingenious opportunity to troubleshoot using the shower in my bathroom while i did this instead of struggling to find leaks in the cabinet.after some back an forth and lots of ptfe tape i managed stop any more seepage and leaks and got it hooked up into my freshwater line and now have a fairly decent setup ready for the road.So far so good for the past month and there has been no major reduction in water flow from any of the faucets and i have been quite happy with the results.

Got a couple of reducers from 3/4 to 1/4 and this filter worked perfectly as expected. No more chlorine tasting ontario water.

I love this water filter system. We bought it for our camper. The campground water is terrible and rusty. It smelled so bad I hated and dreaded taking a shower in that water and never felt clean. We bought this and it turned our showers into heavenly showers. I am so happy. I bought it. The filters are easily replaceable also, and not very expensive. Every six months we them and them it works Doesn’t affect water pressure, the filters are great quality and easy to use. We only had one leak outside, but that’s because my husband didn’t tighten it enough when he replaced the filters our fault.

Not easy to install. Used the provided hardware and it constantly leaked. No madder how much pipe tape you use it leaks. The cylinders gaskets do not fit. Plus one came in the correct position the other was in the wrong position. Spend more get better quality. Had to return

We're using this for our commercial ice machine, rather than for an RV. I needed something that has good output pressure, as the machine requires a minimum of 30psi in a 1/4" line. A standard refrigerator or under-the-sink filter is too restrictive. This worked great. A few tips for someone who may be using this in an unconventional manner, like us.1) The filter comes with two metal adapters, one that's 1/2" NPT Male X 3/4 GHT (garden hose thread) MALE (sometimes also abbreviated as 3/4 MHT), and the other 1/2" NPT Male X 3/4 GHT FEMALE.2) The internal (female) threads of the filter (on both sides) is 1/2" NPT. So if you need to buy an adapter, the end that goes into the filter is 1/2" NPT Male (sometimes also abbreviated 1/2" MIP). I couldn't find this specified anywhere in the description, so hopefully this helps someone.3) In my case, since I was using a standard GHT GHT hose (like ones sold for a washing machine), I needed both sides to be GHT MALE. I therefore needed to buy a second 1/2" NPT Male (MIP) X 3/4 GHT Male (MHT) adapter, which I found at Home Depot. Alternatively, I could have used the included adapter, and purchased a GHT Male to GHT Male adapter, but figured fewer adapters is best to avoid leak points.Otherwise, this was super easy to get installed, and the ice tastes great. I had no issues with leaks or anything like that. I also like that the replacement filters are very affordable.I'll definitely update this review if any issues arise in the future, but so far, we're quite happy.

As full-time RVers, having clean drinking water is a top priority, so we recently upgraded to a new filtration system and chose the Nasibey External RV Dual Replacement Water Filters. What a difference it’s made! These 1-micron sediment filters are excellent at removing impurities, and the water tastes so much better now. They’re easy to install and have really improved the overall quality of our water on the road. I highly recommend these filters to anyone looking to upgrade their RV water system—you won’t regret it!

It was shipped promptly and arrived on time. The product seems sturdy and durable. I am using it now and it seems good. I never had issues with chlorine, but the water through out is good.
