The handle on my Kohler San Rafael needed to be jiggled to make it return, and later it ceased up and would not move. This replacement was super easy to install by myself and worked perfectly. I am a 60+ year old woman :-) I should have bought this replacement years ago.

It is weighted just right. I tried using an aftermarket part and it would not return to the starting position and water kept flowing!! I had to pull the handle back into position each time. what a pain!!

Although I wish there had been more product information, especially where applicable and how to use, the product worked excellently. It was easy to install, but I had to make a bend in the arm for it to not hit the lid of the tank. The description should highlight that it rotates compared to the push button type. The quality is excellent as well.

This was a high quality brass replacement. The tip of the original lever arm, containing the hole through which the chain attaches, had corroded off after 33 years of use. My McGyver fixes never lasted long. I balked at the price for this replacement part, but in reality it is worth it, especially if it last another 33 years. Fit and finish are perfect. Installation easy. The hardest part was removing the original locknut after it had been in wet environment for 33 years.

Easily installable. Does not come with instructions. Pricier because it’s brass. Lasts about 5 years. This is the second replacement in the ten years for this toilet.

It fit the toilet perfectly and it worked perfectly. It was very easy to install and I only hand tightened. Looks good on the toilet, which is an added bonus.

Quality part but not cheap. I also got a Kohler polished chrome trip lever (1025329-CP) which looks like it would work also but I needed the brass. I also have a Kohler toilet that uses the chrome trip lever so this is a spare part at $10.12. I don't know why the brass one is $52.19 but, importantly, it fits on my Kohler one-piece Rialto toilet. That's why I gave it four stars -- subtracting one star for over pricing. After removing the old one I noted that there was calcification on it that may have gummed up the works. So it is sitting in a mild solution of vinegar right now to see if that frees it up. If it does, I'll keep it as another brass spare part as these puppies are expensive. If you can, I'd suggest soaking the trip lever in a mild solution of vinegar to see if that returns it to operation before buying the new part.In installing the new part, I needed to bend the internal lever a bit to clear the flush mechanism but that was easy. No instructions with it, so be careful to have the little rotating blade nut that is near the brass part rotated properly so when you push the handle down the lever in the tank goes up. If you do it the wrong way it will not work. But easy to adjust if you do. I'm not a talented plumber but this job I was able to handle easily. I hope this information is useful to you. Good luck.
