Bought This because of a upgraded installation 2 handle shower faucet in an old 1955 style bathroom & rough in was to shallow after the fact which wouldn't allow the handle to connect. Kohler wanted me to purchase a extended kit for $300. I saw this part & decided to try before I made that purchase, I installed it & it worked. Thank You Amazon! By the way the color I received was brass, not that makes a difference as you don't see it. The new one is installed on Left in the picture.

The part works as it is supposed to. I received a kohler bathroom set that had this part removed. Had to pay over $20 to have the part sent to me.
