This is the 1225B cartridge for Moen single handle faucet (both bath and kitchen.) It's just like the photo, plastic outer cylinder, brass stem. Comes with a plastic removal tool and instructions with images, including solving the reversal of hot and cold (very easy to mix up and very easy to resolve.) It's got plenty of plumber's grease on it, so you don't really need to buy any if you don't have any. Does not include the horseshoe-shaped pin, so be sure to save the one from the cartridge you're replacing. (Very durable, so shouldn't be a problem.)
