Just what I needed. Correct part OEM what do I like? its what I needed as its the base of the tank and the mount to the bowl.

Toilet was running CONSTANTLY! Tore all the guts out of it along with removing the water tank. Cleaned everything and replaced all wearable parts, including this tank plate and now...works GREAT! No more running toilet!

These are for toilet tanks which DO NOT have bolts through the tank and through the base. This plate attaches via large plastic nut with gasket, and the bolts attach through the plate and through the base. When I saw this, I was nervous it was a specialty piece and I would never find the rusted out replacement base. Yeah Kohler! What a happy surprise that it perfectly fit and install was a snap! In this day, where every year all parts are discontinued and non replaceable, I was very happy to see Kohler step up and do us consumers right.

I couldn't find this part locally and I needed to fix my client's toilet in a reasonable time frame. It took a long time to receive it, but I knew that up front. I rated it 5 Stars on ease of install, but that's only if you know your way around a Kohler toilet.I hope this helps someone.~Rich G.
