Mounted perfectly and holds the cast iron sink on the wall perfectly!

This was a last stitch effort to hang a 1920's high back case iron sink. I didn't want it on legs, I only wanted it to hang on the wall and had not been able to find a single bracket that would work! I couldn't find a maximum weight for the bracket so we just winged it. Our sink is approx 100lbs and the bracket is screwed into studs, you could swing from it and it wouldn't move so I'm very pleased with it.

Used for hanging a pedestal sink.Solid cast iron product. However.... The "adjustable" description is a bit misleading. The main tabs are closer to 11" apart, out of the box, and in order to get it to "adjust" to a 9" width, I had to cut each of the sliding pieces by an inch or so. I also had to cut off two of the "ears" on each side, in order for the main tabs to fit onto the ledge of the sink.I used an angle grinder, and it was not hard to do, but it did require some effort that some people may not want, or be able to, make.

The overall length was too short and hence it didn't work. I was trying to remove the "ears" on the very ends. But, the smaller bar broke while I was doing this. My suggestion is not buy this unless the dimension you need under 16 inches and over 8 inches.

After searching local plumbing stores for hangers and not finding anything that would work with the vintage sink I found to match up with the vintage toilet in my powder room, I was fortunate to find this hanger on Amazon. After reading the reviews, I figured I should give it a shot since I didn’t have many other options. I was happy to find that this was the perfect solution to accommodate the wide span (appx 15 inches) that I needed to mount the sink. I grinded off the outside tabs so that the hangers would slide into the slots on the back of my porcelain sink. When I mounted the sink onto the hanger, it slid in tight to the wall. I was pleased with how well it came out. This is a well made product that can be adjusted for a variety of vintage sink sizes. I highly recommend.

I was skeptical, but this adjustable iron hanger (x2) was just what was needed to hang my vintage wall-mounted cast iron sink! Legs shown are temporary and actually not necessary, but with the sink being so big and heavy I am putting legs for backup (and for looks).

I needed to install a 1910s Crane Wall Hung sink and this bracket/ hanger worked perfectly. As noted in the description I needed to snap off the side lugs before use as my sink is made from porcelain which wasn't a big deal. The product itself is well made and heavy duty. My only disappointment is that it is made in China and not in the USA.

It seemed like a very sturdy product. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that the notches in the old sinks are anything but standard, and the hangar wouldn't adjust small enough for our old sink. So measure your sink before ordering!
