Definitely a high upkeep item! The design is functional and has some good qualities about it, but the base of it is not deep enough for animals to get a good drink from it.Noise level is very nice! I feel like it definitely give some assistance to the dog and letting them know it’s good for a drink, but also being quite enough to where it’s not too noticeable.The water filter is a bit upsetting because it is not even on how it filters the water and having to replace it every three weeks can become a very pricey item! Would definitely keep in mind when purchasing this.

Great product with lots of watering capacity. Filters out the chunks and my dogs enjoy the running water fountain. We bought a smaller unit previously, but with 3 dogs, it needed to be refilled daily. This product is easy to clean and filters out the water fairly well. Highly recommend.

If we could get a bigger one we would. The cats have their own fountain but they won’t use it. This is in the main part of the house so after all the dog slobber the cats will still come for their drinks. The spout turns from center so the dogs can really get in there with no problem. The filter system keeps it clean and we sanitize the whole thing every 3ish days and change filter completely after 3 weeks.Very happy with this purchase.

This worked great in the beginning, but after only 4 months the pump barely works. It started slowing down after 3 months and has got worse every day. I can put new filters in and it will pump ok for about a day or 2 and then its barely a trickle. For what I paid for this I would expect the pump to work longer than that.Update: The seller contacted me with instructions on how to take the pump apart to clean the impeller. This must have been missing from the original instructions. After opening the pump and cleaning the internals, the pump is back to working like new.

The dog would not leave the cat fountain alone so we tried this one. We have loved it! Works well for cats and dogs. It holds water so one cat likes to lap but then has the running water for the dog and cat that like fresh, running water.

I live this fountain but you have to clean it almost daily to every two days to remove algae film and etc.
