This IR light is awesome. The IR lights went out of the security cam in my garage and I put this up rather than replace the camera. This light will light up the entire garage. It's awesome.

Does not improve the night vision of my security camera much at all.

The illuminator is visible when on, so it isn't good if you need an invisible IR illuminator for a night vision security camera or something. The LEDs glow a dull dark red, visible to the naked eye.
