This is much larger than I expected. Like a double din car screen. Big mega sized LEDs and it throws a lot of IR light. But it's also big and unsightly so not using it where I originally hoped, but overall, happier with it than I expected too. It's built well and appears to be made to brave the outdoor weather. 4 stars, great nightvision light!

This particular IR lamp throws usable light over 50 feet. Makes a big difference!

The first one I got was intermittent. Wiggle the power wire and the lights went on and off. Filed complaint with Amazon and they sent me a return and took care of the return cost. Second light works as advertised.

I just got this today and I'm already so impressed! It looks like my backyard is lit up, but it's completely dark outside! I bought this to go with my new camera to view/record the backyard and I feel so much safer already. I'll have to buy one for my other cameras next. It's really heavy/sturdy. I'll update my review if it doesn't last as long as it seems it will. I included pictures of my backyard, to show how well they worked, but my review was declined, so I guess I have to remove the pictures. I wish I could show the difference. Oh well.

Bought this to extend the range of my ring camera, third generation, and it works great. In my experience mounting the floodlight about three feet above your camera will give you a good field of view. I know it says it is waterproof,I would exercise caution in this regard. I have mounted the floodlight in a sheltered location with an unobstructed view of my yard. Secondly the dusk to dawn sensor will burn out much faster if exposed to directly to sun so keep it out of direct sunlight. And last caution is about the power adapter burning up,if you can use an ac extension cord instead of adding a jumper cable to your adapter. This light loves electricity and you do not want to do anything to increase resistance.

I almost returned this, as I thought it wasn't working! Turns out, my camera was just not switching to night mode, so the IR light wasn't visible. Once switched over to night mode, it provided ample lighting throughout the backyard allowing me to see objects further away.Be mindful that it is a very narrow field of light, only 90 degrees, but they advertise that clearly, so no stars gone for that.

I installed this under my eave and it helped my security camera immensely. It was great. But after one day, it stopped working. I checked the outlet with a tester and it was fine. Just more junk products from the typical source.

You should know it's not a floodlight. It's a beam... maybe 30 degrees. Not for use up close. I'm lighting 20 side yard stair steps, and put it at the top to illuminate the bottom. Just what I needed.!Worked great for a while, but a few days past the return window I noticed it was dead. Asked seller for replacement, will update this review if they do the right thing.UPDATE: Seller quickly sent a new one that works. Hopefully I got the one and only bad light and the new one will last forever. Adding a few stars for fast customer service response. Tested the new one, found that the LED array runs on 9V. If yours fails like mine did you can pop off the back cover and bypass the electronics entirely to power the LEDs with a 9V wall wart. (That would also bypass the light sensor and leave it powered all day unless your 9V supply was on a light sensor.)

Very well made unit. Robust housing makes it easy to mount and precisely point where it's needed. Provides great broad illumination out to several hundred feet. I use them to light up a pasture for a small monitoring camera.
