I am pleased with this 850nM IR light. It lights up the porch for my Axis M5525 security camera in pitch darkness. The beam is a bit narrow for long distance though. The pictures are of the same area with the light on and with the light off. The shed in the one set of pictures is about 70 feet and the fire pit about 50 feet from the light.

When I received this light, I was concerned that it was too small. As it turns out, the IR illumination was quite good - even at 25’ (8m).While longevity is not known, I’m happy with the IR performance.
