Different from common flashlights
850NM or 940NM ?
- 850nm light (The red-LED can be seen when the light on) -- Excellent in night vision, it is the nice partner for infrared cameras, digital photography, surveillance.
- 940nm light (The dim faint red-LED can be seen when the light on) -- With better concealment, no disturbing animals or human, helps to observe natural behavior at night outside.
Recommendation:
- For night vision more than concealment: 850nm is recommended
- For concealment over night vision: 940nm is recommended
- Have only a faint red LED and cast no visible light when the light is on. But it can turn night into day on night vision scope.
- Under the infrared light with higher concealment, you can find animals without disturbing them, helps to observe their natural behavior at night outside.

I got this for my bushnell 650 and the mount worked very well and fit just fine. The brightness changes the veiw of my night vision to be much brighter. So its pretty powerful. The battery life seems ok and the charger for the battery seems to work as well. I would recommend this.

I was kind of surprised at how well this thing works. It’s not great, it has a lot of extra light spill coming off of it, especially when focused, but overall very bright and has good flood and spot capabilities. I did several long night hikes using it and it worked great.

Wow very impressive. I have the NVG 30 and when you magnify it gets very grainy on the 3rd and 4th close-up, however if you have this flashlight it takes all the graininess and blurriness out, so when you magnify it's very clear. I can also see up to two football fields away with this light pretty clear. Incomplete darkness it makes it 100% clear. It's much better than the IR on the NVG30. I literally delete detail. Plus the battery is the same battery in this flashlight as it is in the NVG 30, and then I bought an extra four batteries with a four battery charger and make it simple.

I use it while dealing with my nocturnal animals and it works great. Bright, solid construction, and easy to remove the battery for charging - with good battery life. I wish more gadgets used this form factor battery.

Very powerful. Comes with charging device for the battery. Did charge it once earlier and works like new. I would caution that leaving it on for extended time does heat up the unit (I had accidentally left it on for 2 hours).

Really nice budget hunting light. Beam is a nice saturated red and not orange or "pinkish" like you get with filters. This is a true red diode.Comes with a nice little carrying case and an 18560 battery.The best feature of this light is that it has an adjustable/zoomable lens that allows you to concentrate the light into a compact tight spot, or back it off to use it as a wide field flood light. A lot of hunting lights don't have this feature for some reason, especially the more expensive ones.Another nice thing about this kit is that it's compatible with some of the Feyachi pressure switches and mounts. So if you have one of their white lights and want red or green you grab this light and use it with their accessories.Overall I am quite happy with this. It's not the brightest light, but for the price it's hard to beat the quality and features.

Tested it against two night vision devices, comparing it to the infrared lights already installed on them.The infrared light is very weak, much weaker than the present infrared light already on my night vision binoculars, and weaker than the infrared light installed on my night vision monocular.Also the light produced is a square light with an obvious bar through it. Compared to my two night vision devices that have circular patterned lights, with no obstructions through the beams.I did move the front of this light forwards and backwards to get the strongest beam, and the battery was fully chargedAdded this to my review: The light is a fire hazard. Before preparing the light for return to Amazon, turned it off, put it back in the holster, making sure it was actually turned off.Came back later to remove battery and pack it for return, smelled something, checked the light. It was on in the holster and very hot.Removed it from the holster, unscrewed the back and got the battery out.Flashlight and battery very hot. Lucky I found it in time.Whether I had turned it on accidentally, or it had turned itself on from a bad switch, the results would be the same. Hot enough, the lithium battery cascades and you have a fire,The only way this light can be safe is if you remove the battery after every usage.Do not recommend this product, returned it.
