These look like a big spot light on my security cameras . Great throw and wide angle beam and don't draw alot of power either .

Other reviews made this sound like an 'iffy' product. I found it a fantastic bargain. Not only does it emit a lot of IR light and improve the night-vision of my camera, but comes on automatically at night, off at daytime. A minor criticism (for my use) is the coverage angle is not as wide as I would like, but it does throw the beam quite a distance.As noted by other reviewers, it DID come in an incorrectly identified box. But I suspect operator error for the other complaints. For one thing, you need to make a wired connection to your own 12VDC power supply. Second, the unit emits IR light (duh), which is not visible to the human eye, so it does not look like it ever comes on.

purchase this three month ago, busy at life, no time to test it, until the day I remember test it & install it, well well well, you know what, it is not working, I can't believe a simply IR light could be not working........... wtf........ok. ..learn a big lesson ...suck it up. fxxx

I bought this IR light just for Meta Quest 3.No more bright lights needed to use the Quest 3!You can dim your lights or use the VR headset in completely darkness.The reason for this is, what I’ve researched, the headset needs light in order for the cameras pick up.You do need a power supply of some sort.My air purifier “levoit” has the exact one it needs.Not sure if it’s legit as far as power needed to use this light but tbh I haven’t had any issues with prolonged sessions on the Quest 3.I recommend it.Also, it works great with cameras.Build quality is good.Value for the money is good.Just not sure how much a power supply would cost. Cord length, eye ball, meaning roughly looks about 3 feet.Fast shippingI’m happy 🤙

Let me start by saying, this product might work fine for its intended purpose. However, I used it for a night time trail camera build connected to a R Pi No IR Camera Module v2 and just couldn't get enough light to illuminate the critters that roam my yard at night. Return was a breeze however so there's always an upside.

It arrived in the wrong box (HD camera box) as someone else had posted--maybe put a label over it, I'm fine using the right sized box from a different product. I could see Amazon getting returns without the person opening the box.That aside, it's exactly as bright as I anticipated. I'm using it to illuminate a "pupcam" I made with a raspberry pi zero and a pi camera without the IR filter. Molly likes to sleep on the couch in the "plant room." I initially pointed it at her couch, but it's much better to bounce off the ceiling. Illuminates that half of the room nicely.Materials feel solid, LED's look good--very satisfied. If that changes, I'll update this review.
