I really like this product. My mom had something very similar when I was a child. It works great for breaking up ice and nuts.

Love these things;helps to break up chunks of ice cubes when they freeze into a glob from frig or if can’t get them best out of ice cube tray;initially found one in resale shop but then noticed 3 pack on internet so I ordered more.for people that are older during last snowstorm that was mixed with icy conditions I used this device to break ice off my car on door handles and back bumper area on my suv so I could crawl in from back and start my suv! Best rhing ever,,fits east in hand/light but durable

Each of the came apart within 3 or 4 uses. The metal caps popped out of both sides. I’ve had one that worked well for better than 10 years, so I know they can be better built.

I know why they ship three. The first one I used after a few uses, one of the metal inserts fell off. Can't really get it to stay in the holder. Glad there are others, hope they don't have the same problem.It does work well if I can keep the insert where it belongs.

Metal broke off both ends when trying to crack ice. Bad glue job. Used some gorilla glue and hasn’t fallen off since. Better to just get ice pick. Wouldn’t recommend.

The metal caps that break up the ice comes out when you tap on the ice. These are very cheaply made and do not hold up. Mine only worked twice and the third time the metal caps came out.
