I recently broke the tip off of my old ice pick that had been passed down to me from my grandmother years ago. I was pretty disappointed. When I ordered this new one I was a bit anxious to see how it measured up as usually the older things are simply made better. Well, to my surprise, I think I like the new one better. While it still has a fairly sharp point on it, that point tapers out much wider than my old one did. This creates a much larger diameter shaft which, in turn creates a bigger hole, and makes the pick considerably stronger. The wooden handle is very comfortable as well.

We have a pretty old ice pick. It's no longer ready for prime time. Something shiny and new would be better. This one looked to fit that description so it was ordered.The pick arrived in 3 days which was one day after the estimated delivery date. The ice pick was bright and shiny. Looks very similar to the ones you see in the movies in the hands of various sorts of miscreants.However, I intend to use it on ice of various sorts and not otherwise.Checking it with a magnet produced a strong attraction which causes me to question that this ice pick is made from stainless steel. It might be because there are various alloys of stainless steel. However, time (and rust) will tell.

My ice maker is all like: "I don't care what you want, I'm my own thang, and I say, I am gonna leak all over the cubes I just dropped out, and do that over and over and make a super huge ice cube, and I'm gonna laugh while you try to cool a drink, but my cube is too dang mega for YOU!" Well, had enough of that - I don't need to put up with that disrespect! So I bought this pic. New sheriff in town, folks, and this one don't play. This cube had to get, got, and it got the business end of this pic. That ice maker is done talking that smack to me. I mean DONE
