Amazing, compact, full featured usb, portable microscope!It has great picture quality and is easy to use. My 14 year old son loves to look at everything with it and has had a lot of fun. For the price, the educational value alone is well worth it.

Purchased this to teach and entertain my grandkids (seven and eight years old) when they come to visit. We were all amazed at how clear the picture was when brought into focus. Some of the descriptions on the slides were not very clear. My 26 and 28 year old daughters used the microscope the most as they were looking at random objects around the house for hours. The quality is pretty good and the product is tough as it was dropped a few times

When I was a small child, I wanted to be a microbiologist, and had a microscope and my own "lab" area. I grew up with a deep interest in all things scientific, and when I saw this microscope, hoped I could further that interest in my little great-grandsons! The price is great. Think of this as a really good magnifying glass, as it is hand held. The screen is actually quite large, and the 200x magnification is very good. It is very easy to use, lightweight, and can be connected to a PC. This is perfect for active young children, who can run around a yard, easily looking at insects, leaves, pond water--you name it. This little tool works very well, and my little great-grandson (5) has a blast whenever he visits. If his interest in biology grows, he can graduate to a more advanced setup; but this is absolutely perfect for now. I highly recommend it. It would make a fabulous gift for any young scientist.

This has been really fun to use. We've looked at carpet fibers, sticks and leaves, strands of hair. It's great to have microscope-level magnification without having to prepare slides. My kiddo has really enjoyed it, and it enhances his science lessons. One hundred percent recommend!

My 5 year old has absolutely loved playing with this! She takes it all over and loves checking out different things. Honestly it’s been fun for the whole family, I’ve really enjoyed checking stuff out as well! The picture quality is very good and the feature to adjust the clarity is simple to use, making it perfect for kids. The battery life has seemed pretty good as well. The only thing that I would mention is that since the magnification is pretty intense, it can be hard to use on something moving, like a small bug.

I got these hand held microscopes for my grandchildren for Christmas. My daughter says they really love using them. This is a gift they can grow into and use for years.

I love digitlal microscopes. 15 years ago when I worked in the jewelry industry, we bought a very similar bit of tech for over $500 to photograph diamonds. This handheld microscope is actually better than what we had back then and now the technology is available to all at an affordable price. This generation really is lucky.This device has a powerful lens/camera combo that will give you a very closeup look the microscopic world. They include slides to get you started. I uploaded a pic of the bee leg slide as a demonstration of just how much magnification you're getting. The box says 1000x the listing says 200x, not sure what it is, but it's very impressive!You can store images to the internal memory or a micro sd card and transfer to your computer.Focusing the photos takes some practice but is easy enough thanks to the smooth rotation of the focus ring.The only zoom available is digital, I don't recommend using it, as photo quality will degrade.Is it perfect? No.Professional quality? Hardly.What it IS is an gateway for curious kids that just may spark a fascination of the natural world.

This digital microscope has been an incredible tool for sparking curiosity in my nephew, who is fascinated by science. The 2-inch HD screen provides crisp, detailed images that make exploring plants, insects, and even coins exciting. The built-in photo storage is such a great feature. My nephew loves saving his discoveries to share with his friends and parents later.The adjustable LED lighting with multiple brightness levels ensures that every detail is visible, even in dim lighting. It’s also lightweight and easy to handle, so he can carry it around for outdoor explorations using the included lanyard. We prepared our own slides using extra ones we purchased, which added another layer of fun to the experience. I also recommend using a white background (printer paper worked well for us) to make specimens stand out more.The microscope connects to a PC for an expanded view, which has been great for reviewing specimens together. It’s compact, portable, and so easy for kids to use, but still powerful enough to provide a rich learning experience. My nephew loves it, and I couldn’t be happier seeing him so engaged and excited about science!
