A good sturdy and compact stand for my digital microscope. The stand flat packs and can be moved to any angle desired. The joints are stiff and sturdy and you can tighten or loosen if you require with hex/allen keys. The holder of the microscope is a spring metal which you can also adjust by hand if required. The stand is made of metal and is lightweight and when collapsed down will also fit in your pocket.

Make sure to look at the dimensions when ordering this. This stand is very tiny standing at ~4" tall at the highest. The stand is solid metal and is very sturdy. Your small microscope can be relatively heavy and still be able to stay put on the stand.

Great fit and reliable stability...This a definite improvement over the original fiddly ball-joint and wingnut design. The extended , thin base makes it much easier to align and center the item being inspected..Good base option for USB microscopes.

I have the Skybasic 50x-1000x and it fits in there perfectly. I suspect that there is enough flex in the bracket to accommodate some variation in the width of the mic. The bracket is also coated/padded so that it won't scratch the mic, a nice touch. While the set-screw stands offer even more stability, they also cost more and this does a good enough job of keeping the mic still when making adjustments. The only thing is that there is an identical stand from another reseller that's $1 less regularly and that was on sale for $2 less when I got this. Source: I bought both just to see; they are exactly the same.

Awhile back I ordered a 4K Wireless Digital Microscope, and it was very tricky to hold it steady, but this sturdy stand is great! The stand base is very thick aluminum and has silicone pads to grip the table surface. The vertical bar is high quality machined aluminum, and is very sturdy. The part that grips the microscope is coated with a dense silicone like material, and it holds the microscope very securely. The stand also folds flat, for easy storage. I really like this stand, it's very solid.Would definitely recommend.

I had bought a digital microscope, some time back, to look at the stylus on my turntable. The cheap stand that came with it was, well, junk. I haven't been able to find a stand that was solid enough and able to be adjusted to the height and angle that I needed, at a reasonable price. I saw this and was a bit skeptical, but it works. It looks, at first to be too lightweight and too small but because it's aluminum, it's just right. small enough and maneuverable to get that microscope to stay still for viewing the stylus while it's still on the turntable.

This is a nice upgrade from the plastic mount that typically comes with handheld USB microscopes. It features an all aluminum construction which is very light but still very stable. The mount has a rubber base for additional stability. The joints are stiff out of the box yet easily maneuverable, also allow tightening if need be. However no tool is included.5 stars

Overall it's a good basic stand or holder for any of the small tube/barrel digital microscopes. The tension grip is firm and stable, as well as easy to use for inserting scopes of similar sizes (barrel diameters). The base and vertical arm seem to be made of good light weight aluminum with four small rubber pads under the base to isolate or dampen vibrations from any supporting surface. The grip-arm and arm-base connections are joined via nice hex-keyed friction joints. In general, a fairly sturdy design. What would be nice enhancements - 1. a slightly heavier base and arm to improve stability. 2. adjustable grip to accommodate a wider range of scope diameters. 3. adjustable arm extension to elevate scopes - but would probably require a larger base for support.Adding these elements would improve overall stability and flexibility, but might double the cost. For a basic economy stand/holder this is a nice option.
