The setup was very easy.Just put in the batteries and the sensor and unit will pair automatically.It’s nice to know what the “weather conditions” inside the safe are without having to open it.The magnets seem a little weak, but it’s staying in place so far.I will update this review should the hygrometer fail any time soon., but it seems well built, and I’m not expecting any problems.

The base does work correctly so 2 stars for that. The remote constantly disconnects no matter if it is in my safe or right next to the base. I tried different batteries and battery brands to no avail. It will reconnect after resetting (taking the batteries out then back in), however; I don't see the point in that since every time the safe is opened moisture is introduced, negating the point of the remote. I'd rather not have to micromanage something that is supposed to be a solution.

Good hydrometer. Easy to setup has nice features to leave the remote in the gun safe and you put reader on the outside of your safe. So you don't have to open it to see humidity. My only complaints are the magnets on the back are weak and can slide down on your safe and I wish you could use Bluetooth to check it without having to walk up to it. I would still recommend this product.

Works great and easy to use. Every once in a while the remote disconnects from the base, so I have to take out a battery and put it back in to reconnect, but it’s not a deal breaker. For the price and for what I use it for, it’s great.

This is a great way to quickly check the interior conditions of my safe at a glance. No more need to open to make sure the dehumidifier is on. The magnets on the display could be stronger. Sometimes it starts to slide down the door which can get annoying.
