Bought this stepstool because my apartment has many tall shelves that are hard for me to reach (I’m 5’2), it works great for that purpose and feels stable to stand on! Just be careful when storing it as it can fall over (very loudly) if you prop it against a wall.

Easy to understand how does it works and the height is perfect to reach for higher cabinets (what I wanted it to be) it is not heavy at all and maintains sturdiness.

I live in an apartment with 11ft ceilings but do not have space for a full size ladder, so this stool is perfect. I am able to reach the top of my cabinets and high enough to hang curtains etc. It closes and opens smoothly and easily and feels very sturdy.

The quality looks good. I am pleased- I use it in my closet to reach upper shelves. I opted for this one with no safety guard on top because it stores folded up easier. Very lightweight- would buy again

I liked the light weight of this and how easy it is to close, open, and store. I am 5'3 with a short ceiling and could reach at the second step (has only three). Though, if you do not have great balance I would recommend maybe a taller ladder with more of a top flat surface only because its a little scary to not be able to hold onto something while you are climbing. Other than that, it is still very effective for a good price and holds up my weight (between 150-165)

Arrived in proper packaging. Heavier than I expected, although everything seems to be getting heavier through the decades of dotage!Some reviews held complaint of unequal leg length. Mine maybe a millimeter but as soon as my paltry mass attempted the first rung, the contraption felt very planted and secure. It is better than I expected!BTW, after first use, there is no millimeter diff in leg length anymore. It is a foldable unit so there will be an initial settling of moving parts (and geometries).I wanted a 3-stepper, but was concerned about those (most) 3-rung units which had that back handle addition. I pictured a scenario wherein a senior ascends to that third level and loses balance, and topples forward. That common handle section could pose a problem as being in the way of an emergency exit through the top of the back end. I am using too many words hear. Boil it down to, this one is safer .Recommend this -- at the price i payed. Consider that possible hazzard scenario with most of the others!

I guess if you want a good quality three-step ladder, you can't expect it to be too lightweight. That being said, we are keeping this, but I don't find it easy to move around from room to room because of it's weight. Larger and stronger people may not have as much trouble. It feels good quality and is very sturdy, but it takes some practice and repetition to learn to open and close easily as well. Because of the weight and opening mechanism, I'm giving it 3 stars.
