This lightweight step ladder is a great addition to our home. I use it everywhere from the kitchen to the basement. It is nice to finally have a step ladder that I can lift and carry around the home.

For basic “around-the-house” light-duty use, this two-step stool works very well for me.I would start by saying that the unit is sure-footed for its compact size. Each leg has a red, plastic foot, and each of those feet has a soft, rubber base, thus, the feet stay equally stable on rugs and hard floor/tile surfaces. Once opened, your body weight essentially keeps the unit locked in place. I weigh roughly 200 pounds and I feel comfortable using it, but I can feel a little bit of flex in the metal steps. I do feel it is actually normal based on my experience for a light-duty setup. However, I would just like to point out that the manufacturer’s claim that the unit has a 600-pound capacity is not something I would have any confidence in. For me, at 200 pounds, in good physical condition, I have no problems using this stepping stool. Having said that, I think that’s about the weight limit I would be comfortable with when using this folding stool. Although it is put together well, it is not heavy-duty, and I would be looking for a more heavy-duty/robust option for heavier loads.One of the primary reasons I wanted to try out this unit is because it is smaller, easier to store, and more lightweight than my existing heavy-duty, three step, stepping stool. My heavy-duty unit is too cumbersome in the house for most applications, and it’s a pain to stow away as well. By comparison, this “Diamondforge” stool is significantly more compact and lightweight, making it immensely more manageable in the house, and also, importantly, when storing it in a closet. It has a slim profile when folded up, and the red foam cushion on the handle even acts as a buffer when leaning the unit against a wall.I want to reiterate that I feel this is a light-duty setup. I see it as very suitable for basic, around the house type activities – changing light bulbs, dusting, reaching something in a cabinet – that sort of thing. In those types of circumstances, I think this is a fine unit. For anything more rigorous than those types of activities, or for heavier individuals, I would be looking for something more robust.

Packing box was good. The step stool is sturdy and good height. The platform at the top is a plus. I weigh 340lbs. and the support steps is stable.

The step folding ladder is great to use and is easy to fold out and in. The tray is perfect with the step folding ladder. I've used it to put my cleaning products on it, while I was cleaning my ceiling fans.

I am a kitchen and bathroom remodeler and use this ladder constantly. It has wide platform steps so standing on any of them doesnt exhaust your feet and has the fold down shelf to put whater you want on it to hold off the floor while working and it is light weight easy to move around and also very sturdy.
