Steps are very weak so fear of falling anytime this latter has to be used. Would Not recommend to anyone over 100 pounds

It’s pretty light but sturdy enough for puttering around the house without dragging out a giant ladder. It feels safe enough but I wouldn’t necessarily consider it for hardcore construction work. But that’s OK for what it is.

This ladder is great, quite strong, yet pretty light at the same time. The one flaw is the flip down holder thing, it's cheap and not worthy of the ladder. It's functional for screw drivers but i would never hang a paint can from it or whatever. With that said, i didn't even notice that item when i ordered it, so this fits my needs perfectly!

The step ladder itself feels and appears sturdy and reliable, the steps are comfortable to stand on for a long time and having 5 steps as opposed to 3 not only gives you more height to work with, it gives you a sense of security you don't have with a 3 step step ladder. My only quibble is the accompanying tool holder is flimsy and pointless. Overall, I am very happy with this ladder and the price at the time I ordered it is fair.

This is a utility ladder for sure. The build quality is average or poor, looks like something put together hastily, mostly for the utilities, not much concern for cosmetic outlooks. The materials used may claim medium to heavy duty, but construction made it just for light to medium duty. I'm not a heavy person, so I feel comfortable to use it and it is steady for me. The price is high relative to the build quality of the ladder.

I originally purchased a 4 step folding ladder to use for installing lighted ceiling fans in my bedrooms. I gave that 4 step folding ladder a 5 star rating. Several weeks later I saw this 5 step on Amazon And thought, "Oh, I need to get this!" Here is a quick comparison between the two folding ladders:Please see the attached picture. You'll first notice that the top step of this five step ladder (on the Left) is only a few inches higher then the 4 step ladder show to its right. If you look carefully, you will also notice that the steps on the 5 step letter are almost half the size of the 4 step letter also slightly narrower and the spread difference, front to back, also is slightly smaller. This makes the five step ladder slightly less stable than the wider 4 step letter, however I would say it is still fairly stable. The five step letter advantage is mainly higher rounded grab bar- that is something I do like a lot. The five stepped ladder also has a small plastic 2 hanger, but it appears to be rather flimsy and I would not want to put anything heavy on it (maybe just a paintbrush or a screwdriver). The other significant difference between these two ladders is the price: The four step ladder, which is functionally equivalent (IMHO) and somewhat more stable, cost $60 and the 5 step letter cost $80. The five step folding runner is certainly not bad, and I will be using it, but for the reasons given here I am writing it at three stars - based on the above comparison.

As described, but not quite to my taste. While the build quality seems solid, at 200 lbs, I just don’t feel safe stepping on this ladder—it feels more suited for petite women or light-duty use. The steel frame is sturdy, but the plastic steps feel flimsy under my weight. If you're on the heavier side or need something truly robust, you might want to consider a ladder with all-metal construction. Otherwise, it’s compact, lightweight, and easy to store. Just not the confidence booster I was hoping for!

This ladder is extremely lightweight and is probably a safety risk for most people. My husband is 170lb and was excited to get the ladder but the steps flexed and the ‘support bars’ under the steps bent on the first use. If you’re really light it may work ok but he said it won’t be something he trusts for our family.
