Detector feels and looks like it was built to last. Came with batteries and mounting hardware. Easy to install anywhere you need smoke and CO detection

Experienced the same issue of a review from June 2023-Purchased a 3 pack in hard wired smoke/Co detectors, within 1-2 months had one fail and wouldn't work with a "battery error". Returned and replaced them (my mistake) to install some new ones. Installed new in July 2024. This week I had my first alarm from cooking. These were supposed to be smart enough to avoid the false alarm, I guess not. Immediately after alarming I got a low battery chirp just on the detector that alarmed. I thought "its only been three months maybe the factory batteries used were aged”. I replace with the listed brand new energizer lithium batteries and the same alarm is chirping Low battery. Swapped them within the circuit and this one continues to fail. The return window is closed and I’m left with a malfunctioning alarm and no way to complete my circuit, leaving my house open to risk.Amazon says contact the company, which so far seems like no one there cares.AVOID

The instructions are not the best. Suggest reading thoroughly before even inserting batteries. Once installed, however, easily tested and competent. Worth the purchase? Yes. Restful nights of assurance.

Multifunction for gas and fire. Great value for the money. Installed easily since hard wire was already available. Don’t have to worry about it going dead but also has battery back up if power goes out.
