Superbly easy to install and very functionalThe Nest protect was so easy to install, the instructions were in plain English and easy to follow. Connecting to the wifi and app was no problem also. I love the fact that you can test and silence it from your mobile device as well as monitor remotely. Finally, and completely out of the blue I got a monthly report email detailing everything.

Easy to set up . Dementia friendly as it has warning and gives you time to warn dementia sufferer. Easy to use as well as looking good. Had a little accident leaving a baking sheet in the bottom of oven. This detected smoke very early. The warning stops the panic . Second nest product that I love. I have a thermostat too.

It's like having a Angel watch over you! With it's warning to let you know smoke has been detected to guiding you with a night light when you walk past! It's easy to install and would happily buy another one! The app is easy to use and the monthly email report is a great reminder to do a test. Any doubts about purchasing this? Don't Have, it's worth every penny!

Easy to set up using the app. I don't like using google to do anything because it's too invasive. I was able to log into the Nest site .The set up was simple and the installation was quick. We replaced out new 02 and smoke sensor with the same product we had the last time . Ours is in the hall way so I like the light. although it can be annoying because we have cats and they constantly run up and down the hall way. Other then that Yi think it's great , It creates a safe secure feeling .

Got a new router and only one if the 4 protects that I purchased would connect to my account after. Google tech support is no help.
