Yes, it was as described, hut it just a single piece of filter with no border to prevent finger print issues, etc. Worked with a bit of gerryrigging for the eclipse and our camera. Next time I'll choose a more nuanced option.

Took one test picture before the start and sheet has permanent hot spot on it. Dead center, can't focus past it. Waste of money and ruined an opportunity that won't come around for another 20 years πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽEdit, what i thought was spotting on the filter itself is not. THIS DESTROYED MY CAMERA!!! The spot is on the sensor. I used the camera just 10 minutes before using this filter, all ok. As soon as I used this, I got one picture and then the spotting. Upon further inspection, it is my camera. A $1800 DSLR ruined by this POS filter. Who is going to compensate me for that? It says SOLAR FILTER.

Tested against sun and bright light sources just fine - no issues with vision like another reviewer stated. The information sheet states the manufacturer is Jaxy Optical Instruments, classified as "trusted" by the AAS, and is ISO 12321-2 2015 rated.

Wrinkles a little but still worked well when I used it to cover the lense of my camera and monoscope to view the total solar eclipse.

Instructions:1. Make a square box that fit over the end of the telescope, cut a circle the size of the telescope in the end.2. To give the filter some strength, cut a thin cardboard square that would fit inside the box and cut a circle the size of the telescope and tape the filter to the cardboard square.3. Insert the square with the filter in the box.4. Slide box over end of telescope.5. Watch the Eclipse.
