The charger didn't get hot at all while charging despite the warning on the bottom.Comes as two separate boxes, one with the charger one with the battery.Light is green if the charger is empty, red if it's charging. That means if there's a problem with your battery (e.g. corroded or dirty contacts, pin in the charger bent, battery completely dead and broken, etc.) it'll just show a green light when you go to charge it which could be confusing. The charger really should have the LED off if there's no electrical continuity where the battery should be.Charging the battery took a surprisingly long time. I got tired of waiting after a few hours and just left it to charge over night.Fully charged it output well over the nominal 7.2 (above 8.4 V which is expected) and drops gradually down to the 7.2 V as it discharged. A full charge provides what feels like a decent amount of light.Price is a bit high for the battery characteristics but higher prices are expected in this space.Decent replacement option

I ordered this V1 battery for my Godox V1-C. I was very pleased to be able to order an OEM battery for this flash. It's a proprietary battery so a spare is always in order, and the charger is a tiny thing -- I have lost my original charger more than once. This was a great value getting both an additional battery and a spare charger.It is fully compatible with my V1-C flash and I have the peace of mind knowing it's an OEM product. This product (2600mAh) is identical to the capacity of the battery that originally came with my V1-C.Recommended.

Works great in my Godox V1 Pro C flash as an extra battery. It puts out the proper 7.2 volts that the V1 Pro needs but with a slightly lower capacity of 2600mAh compared to the V1 Pro's original battery (model VB30) which has a 2980 mAh rating. I rarely run the battery down to zero and haven't noticed any real need to buy the original VB30 battery the V1 Pro came with.
