I mean just like the title says. I get tired of my batteries randomly deciding when to fall out on me during sessions and sometimes I don’t want to bring my studio strobes with their battery packs. I know how to shoot with smaller lighting. I bought this and it simply cures that nonsense battery problem. The recycle times are EXTREMELY low thank goodness.FYI, you will feel the need to shoot faster, don’t shoot so fast because just because it recycles faster, don’t mean the light itself won’t overheat…(and it’s not this products fault so don’t aim there either. ). I typically shoot around 1/4-1/8 power and I don’t run the dual wire to one, although I see people doing that, I feel that adds a lot of stress to the unit in terms of power and will prematurely blow the speed light up, again that’s just me… could last forever.But if you are looking for something that will give you peace of mind about charging, power and trust of location use… get this and don’t look back. It’s very worth the investment and will help you make your money faster. It WILL pay for itself the very next session you do with it.

Did not work. I wrote them and they kept writing back asking additional questions but never any answers until I finally gave up. I believe the problem is simply that the cable isn’t working. I didn’t have the time to keep pressing it now I have a flash system that doesn’t work. Now it cannot be returned.

Great to have! It provides a good fast charge, much more consistently than off the shelf rechargeable batteries and can last me all day with hundreds of flashes available. The fact that I can use the USB port to charge my phone as well is a great plus!

I use this with a TT685F as a remote fill for outdoor portraits, and it works perfectly. Even with rechargeable AA batteries, I was really disappointed with the number of pops I could get before changing batteries. After the initial full charge, I have used this thing for about 7 or 8 portrait sessions, and it is still indicating about 80% charge. The flash recycle rate with is almost instant also. All the cables and connectors are very sturdy as well, you can easlily have this thing clipped to the bottom of a 9ft light stand and the cord will stretch and stays attached without issue. If you shoot a lot of flash, this is a must have item.
