Can't complain. Works like a charm. Be aware of the length. This leash has a pretty long cord so make sure it is not too long. Quality seems to be good. The only downside is the mechanism to hold the leash. It is different from other leashes I have had before. It appears to be a gear with notches that will stop without any give when pushing the button. It is little hard on the wrist if the dog is running fast.

The end of the lead broke the first time I used. This was not good when we were trying to work our 2 year old rescue.Went from a flat tape to a round cord type and works great.

We love this leash. For years we have been using the 6’ Boots and Barkley ones from Target (pictured), which are definitely not bad leashes, but this leash has been superior in every way.First off, the extra-long 30’ length is amazing. We have a large yard and also like to take trips to the park, and with this leash we can let our puppy play and explore safely without having to chase right behind him the entire time. The leash cord itself is more like thin rope than traditional leash material, but it still seems strong, and I’m sure that was a necessary design choice to accommodate the length. Although we mostly use this with our 25lb puppy, I’ve also used it a few times with our fully grown, 100lb+ (and very strong and energetic) dogs, with no issues.Another thing we like about this leash is that it extends and retracts very smoothly and reliably. We’ve been using it daily for almost a month and it has almost never jammed. The few times it has, they were just light snags that were easily corrected. It also maintains the perfect amount of tension for our puppy to be able to extend it effortlessly, while also staying taut.Additionally, the hold button and slider lock are large and easy to use, and they engage smoothly, securely, and easily — especially compared to the Boots and Barkley leashes we have, which have a finicky slider lock that is more difficult to engage and doesn’t always stay locked.Even the little collar clasp is better on this leash; it is larger, more solid, and slides more smoothly. This might sound like an insignificant detail, but I’ve had our puppy pee on the floor in the middle of the night while I was fighting with a stuck clasp on one of our other leashes. In addition to functioning extremely well, this leash is also ergonomic. I have large hands, and I find it very comfortable to hold, and the buttons are well placed and easy to reach.I was given this leash for free to review, but if I ever needed to replace it, I would buy it again with my own money in a heartbeat. If you are in the market for an extendable leash, this is the one to get. You won’t be disappointed.
