Super strong retractable leash that is able to handle all the hyperactivity of our 102 pound labrador, Bixby! Yes, we walk him every day - 2x in fact - and he really puts this leash to the test. High quality materials and workmanship, and the locking mechanism on the retraction works beautifully. One time when it jammed, I contacted the company directly and they absolutely stood behind their product and were very accommodating. Great customer service from Marvin and Tiffany. I love how this is a small, family-owned company!

Only have used this leash a few times so far. We are daily walkers. It releases and retracts very smoothly. Like that is has a wide tape instead of a small cord. It is a bit heavier than others we have had. I think this might be because of the tape and it seems to be made of heavier plastic.

I like the neon green design and retractability. it's so much nicer to have a retractable leash than a static one. this one seems to be really quality and should last a while. even if it didn't, the price is great to just buy another one. nice and compact size and weight

Bought this for the many features it has including the accompanying poop bag holder. It was nice for a little bit, but the poop bag holder wasn’t with the first one. The company was responsive and great at replacing it. The second one came with the holder and lasted about 4 months, but with my dog’s pulling on it when another (unleashed) dog came to play with her, it snapped leaving me having to grab her and drag her inside before she could run off. She is a 25lb dog, so not a huge dog by any means. I think there are a few flaws with this leash that makes it one I unfortunately cannot recommend. It doesn’t seem heavy duty enough and the poop bag holder snaps in and out which means it can fall out pretty easily if the dog tugs sometimes. I then have to go chase after the holder which flies away. Otherwise, it is bright, works well until it doesn’t, but I wouldn’t recommend it for the reasons mentioned above.(Update 2/5/25) I added a star because the Mighty Paw company saw my review and sent me a refund for the trouble I had with the leash. That's a stand-up thing to do and I appreciate that they take the time to look at reviews of their products and went out of their way to do something about it without my having to ask for it.

Works as advertised for the most part. The no tangle swivel helps with an active dog, but isn't even close to foolproof. The spring could be a bit stronger, especially for larger dogs. Our dog is 60 pounds and despite her training, she longs to meet any bunny or squirrel she sees, which means she pulls like a freight train when you least expect it. I've had it and used it daily for about 9 months. It's beginning to fail and will need to be replaced. By fail I mean the spring is getting weaker and the retraction mechanism is starting to make a clicking sound when the leach plays out and retracts. The fabric of the leash itself is not overly stout, though it is not prone to breaking, just highly vulnerable to chewing. The first day I had it, I had our dog laying next to my chair while attached to the leash. She took about 5 seconds without me watching her to begin chewing on the leash. Luckily, I caught her and she only got one hole in it, also luckily, right in the middle of the fabric. It survived, and continues to do so, but I expect she'd have chewed through it in about 20 seconds if I hadn't noticed. I say this because I have a similar retractable leash that she chewed through 3 times before I bought this one. It was made of very similar material.

Werkt op zich goed, maar weegt relatief weinig. Het voelt ook veel minder robuust aan dan onze vergelijkbare andere intrekbare hondenriem die al jarenlang meegaat. Vooralsnog, omdat het verder prima werkt, krijgt het de voordeel van de twijfel, we zullen zien hoelang deze mee gaat.

I needed a very good leash with a large comfortable grip handle. I walk her with my walker so it had to be able to work with my grip on the walker and the leash. The length is just the length I needed to have her running ahead of me and the walker. When I am tired, it's nice to sit and watch her play. All of the description for this leash is spot on. I would recomend this leash for anyone expecially those who need a very good handle for extra grip.I am very fusy about what I use for my puppy and this passes all expecations.
