Did not last two days.Retractability was weak, after a couple hard pulls I needed to hand feed it back in.My 55 lb dog ran after something and the whole plastic box just got ripped out of its socket and flew behind my dog.The idea is lovely, the concept too week for bigger dogs

I saw this didn’t have many reviews, and I don’t usually leave reviews but this changed our lives. Basically, if you live anywhere where you’d be more comfortable letting your pet outside your apartment without exposing yourself to the undesirable weather/cold at 6am or whatever, then this is what you need. We went from taking our dogs out on a leash at 6am in the freezing cold every morning to letting them do their own thing while we were warm and cozy inside.The only con, which wasn’t enough to take a star away, was installation posed a 3 minute challenge because the screw holes to mount it were sort of behind the reel making it difficult to screw in (picture included).But overall, we’ve had this for several months now and it’s working like a charm, for both our large heavy dog pulling against it, yet being light enough for our small dog to comfortably go out. Highly recommend.

There is no problem with this product. I guess after buying it that I hoped the leash would retract quicker as my dog can get tangled in it. I assume this is for safety reasons so that it does not whip back and hurt a pet/human. If you have an energetic dog… try another solution.

The plastic coating cracked in many places the first month and gets stuck when it retracts. Very poor quality. Definitely not worth the money.

I finally have something my dog can't break. I have a little 10lb dog and believe it or not, she gets so excited when she sees a squirrel that she had enough force to break a typical retractable leash. This one is not a problem so far and I have had it for 6 months.

I would be willing to pay more for a sturdier retraction system. While the leash functions adequately, my fast-growing puppy is quickly outpacing its durability, and I’m concerned he’ll soon be able to break free. The leash is quite thin, and like most puppies, mine tends to chew near the attachment point to the collar. To address this, I’ve resorted to using heat shrink to repair the teeth marks. Overall, while it gets the job done, I wish the leash were more robust and capable of withstanding the wear and tear of a larger growing puppy.

Le dispositif ne fonctionne pas à la première utilisation le câble est entré dans le boîtier qui s’est ouvert lorsque le chien s’est déplacé j’ai du coller le boîtier et demander un dédommagement au vendeur . Il m’a remboursé totalement ce qui fait que bien que je sois déçu que le dispositif ne fonctionne pas , je suis entièrement du service après vente , il est attentionné et honnête ! Merci je resterai dans l’attente d’un semblable dispositif mais solide pour chien

I loved the concept of this product as we are always untangling dog leads. It worked like a dream for our 40lb younger dog, if that was the only dog I have I would have given it 5 stars. The drawback I saw with this product was our older 90 lb dogs didn’t like the constant tension that comes with a retractable leash but I’m sure he would have gotten used to it if it had lasted. The first attempt on a Great Dane who went running to greet the neighbors and the clip snapped off the cable, while the cable did its job and retracted the dog was on the run! The housing for the cable is in a sturdy plastic box that does not open without breaking it so a repair isn’t possible. Good for smaller dogs or lazy dogs but not the product for a dog who runs at full speed
