I am always looking for wholesome hobbies and always wanted to try crochet. My sister has custody of her granddaughter and is always traveling to dance practice or cheer camps, so I figured this would be a good hobby to start and is super portable, so she can bring it with her anywhere. I love the derpy cactus design of these and feel like they would be great on the mantle or open spot on the entertainment center to display. I am seriously considering this same set, or one very similar to it, to get for myself. Thank you Faircosy for an awesome product and to Prime for super fast shipping!

Not sure this is a beginner kit. The video was great, but she had only been crocheting about a year it was her first amigurumi project and she found it difficult. I had to help her alot, video made it much easier, but still took some time. Cute project.

I love how this project turned out and I learned a lot but I was glad I’ve had a lot more experience working on beginner projects so I was able to tackle the tougher areas around the legs and felt a huge sense of accomplishment when I completed this. I’m proud of completing this one and recommend for those with a few easy projects under their belt. The yarn is not the easiest to work with if you’re a complete beginner.

A newbie will find that the kit provides everything they could possibly want, from a full written instruction manual to a video instructional that is quite informative. The inclusion of more than forty percent of more yarn was a clever touch that ensured that even if I made errors, which, let's be honest, I did, there would be enough of material for me to continue practicing until I got it exactly perfect. Not only is the end product really gorgeous, but the design also provided for a range of stitches, which assisted me in developing a number of abilities related to crocheting. Considering that the yarn that is offered is gentle and simple to manipulate, the overall procedure is one that is fun and calming. A full learning experience was produced as a result of the combination of the step-by-step assistance and the textual instructions received. As someone who learns best via visuals, it was really beneficial to be able to see the approaches being used. My ability to stop and replay the instruction whenever I wanted to without getting overwhelmed was made possible by the video's tempo, which was exactly perfect.
