My daughter loves crocheting tiny critters so I thought this would be perfect for her. She hasnât made them yet, but she loved the idea. Canât wait to see them made!

This kit is said to be good for beginners, but even as an experienced crocheter, the instructions were difficult to figure out. I have had to watch the videos are few times just to even begin to help my daughter get started, but the videos are hard to follow since the person narrating them has a very accent. My daughter loves crochet kits, and we absolutely would not buy this one again.

I'm don't know how to crochet so I tried this and it is hard. The crochet hook I think is to small to work with, the yard should be bigger in volume making it easy to handle. The instructions are vague and I think there should be more pictures. The scissors in the kit can't cut butter. I don't recommend this for beginners unless they rethink the content and instructions

So, I am still working on my black and white cat and will share a pic once done, but I am really enjoying this kit so much. I would say it's a bit more beginner-intermediate than beginner-beginner since it introduces some oval rounds, color changes, and rules about not counting slip stitches, but the videos on YouTube are exceptional. All you need to do is scan a QR code included in the instruction book. The woman has a slight accent, but is still easy to understand and the video really makes all the difference when you're second guessing yourself. Making the black cat was tough for me because it's really difficult to see your stitches with black yarn! You'll definitely want good lighting if you're a beginner. I made some customizations to the kitty face as I really wanted it to look more cat like, and less cartoon like. I think it came out great and cannot wait to finish. This kit also comes with yarn to make an orange cat, 2 mini cat head balls and 2 small balls. I can definitely recommend this kit for anybody who wants to learn some additional techniques with great instruction. You'll also make some adorable cats! My cat keeps stealing my big cat project in progress so the little cat balls are going to be a massive hit!

I have not made this yet but the box comes with everything you need. Seems to be good quality. The design is very cute.

When you open the instruction book, you instantly see all these abbreviations and numbers, or I guess like, âcrochets codesâ that, unless youâve already crocheted, itâs immediately a bit off putting. At least, for my daughter and I it was. There is a QR code to watch tutorials that explains everything though. And then you move on to the stitching instructions for whichever form youâre making. Iâm a visual learner, so I actually am grateful for the video tutorials. I was just a bit caught off guard by the instructions, not being able to understand them.
