I am learning to crochet and I want to make tiny crochet things so this collection will be very helpful in making that happen. The hooks are comfortable also, wish they were a bit thicker, but they are fine.

Nice beginner set for tatting. Selection of yarn is nice. Comes in attractive, easy to carry case.

It’s a great kit with just about everything you need besides needles! I got this set for crocheting jewelry and earrings. I obviously don’t need a ton of yarn to crochet such tiny thing so it’s great to have so many colors available. I’ve already made a couple pairs of earrings too and really like them. The crochet hooks that come with it are great, I LOVE the handles. The yarn snippers are really nice too, very sharp. I personally don’t know how to tat but I’m keeping the tatting shuttles because I’m sure I’ll eventually get the urge to learn haha. Really great set though, highly recommend for someone who doesn’t need a ton of one color and wants a variety to play around with.

I love the travel bag. There’s pouches for the hooks that came with it and my Clover Amours, as well as two other pouches for the shuttles, scissors and my tatting needles, and a nice bottom area for threads.These are not complaints, just observations- The hooks are smaller than the Amours, and the shuttles are a bit smaller than standard shuttles.The thread seems just ok, probably the weakest part of the set. One ball has a nice sheen on it, but the rest have some fluff to them, the kind that will effect how the thread slides and will probably pill in time. For the price, at least it’ll be nice to use to practice.

It's a great concept and is probably still a fair price just for the case, set of small size hooks, and other items included, but the thread used is not appropriate for tatting. It's not mercerized, which means it's "fuzzy" and has a lot of friction when you're trying to pull it tight. I ended up breaking the thread before it would pull a circle fully closed.It's still not a bad purchase for getting started, but definitely also buy some mercerized thread. I'd also recommend picking up the Handy Hands Aerlit/Dreamlit shuttles with changeable bobbins when you're ready to start getting more shuttles :)
