This oil pressure gauge has a 90 degree sweep, 0-100 PSI range, and has a backlit dial face with Boudon tube meter movement. Air core movements and simple three wire installation are also included. This gauge is easy to hook-up and mount in your car and gives an advanced warning of incorrect oil pressure, low oil level, defective oil pump, restricted oil lines, clogged oil filter, and low oil level.

I installed this on a car that kept lighting the low oil pressure light to get a feel for what’s going on. As it was my daughters car and I can’t be there everyday, I wanted a permanent install, and running plastic sensor tubing clear j to the cabin was not going to cut it. Get some copper tubing. There’s a few here and my local oreilies had some too. I had to use a splice, since neither copper line was long enough on its own to get from the right side of the engine to the left drivers side of the dash. But the gauge items elf is great, and since it’s strictly mechanical, you KNOW the pressure, except that’s a long tubing run, so cold starts can leave you guessing, but…if you’ve read this far you know that, right? Summary, good gauge.

It works well, but the chrome bezel is just plastic and will spin if you try to hold it while tightening it in place. Satisfied otherwise!

Best gauges around for the money there are. Easiest to install that I have ever used. Just drill the right size hole put the gauge in and put the screw back on and hook it up and you are done.

Don't know why Amazon's descriptions of all this series of gauges are such a mess. I had to go to the Equus site several times to verify the part numbers so I knew what I was ordering. This is not a "black" gauge, it is as pictured; high quality brushed aluminum with full back lit face. Not LED but incandescent bulb with different colored covers for the lamp. They look very nice and are legible, night or day. They all look like they cost much more than they actually do, and are accurate enough. I installed these in a mudding Jeep CJ-7 and they are handling the rough life quite well. Buy a whole set, you won't be sorry.
